Three days and counting

The OP Pack continues to ponder their plight.

I wonder if I can bring my loveseat to the kennel?

How did I miss out on this? Is it true? Do we really have to go?

Mom, you know I don't like to sleep anywhere but in my crate AT HOME.

If I put on my really cute puppy face,
do you think she will change her mind?

I think I need to do some serious thinking.

Woos, the OP Pack

(Note from "the Mom": Pups will be staying at the kennel associated with our veterinary services. We could leave them at home and have someone come in to care for them, but with Dakota's condition, we feel more comfortable with her being near the vet at all times. And it is only for a long Easter weekend, Thursday through Tuesday.)

  1. Oh guys I feel for ya, I really do.
Don't make your mum feel too guilty though. I'm sure she feels sad enough about leaving you as it is and at least you have each other for company and support.

  5. But making moms feel guilty is exactly what we are good at. Our humans might agree with the decision, but we protest!

  9. I know that your mom will be very sad and lonely without you. Just think of the extra love and attention that you'll get when they get home.

  10. You three are laying it on thick. Our parents say, "you wanna go to Roscoe's?". That makes us think we're going over to play, but nope, they leave us there! So at least you mom isn't tricking you.

  11. I was at one of those places for a whole week before my new family negotiated my release. I was fed stale kibble once a day and the other inmates were constantly barking. Sorry. I shouldn't make you feel any worse than you already do. Maybe I could come visit you during your incarceration. Where is this prison, er, I mean Vet located?? I will sneak in an Easter basket for each of you!!

  13. Oh Guys
It will be OK - it is only for the Easter weekend!
At least you are all together and we know you will look out for one another.
You never know it might be fun! Well we think that your mom will feel so guilty she will bring you all something really nice back - maybe even tripe sticks!!
Tell your mom you just buy them in a bag so it's OK although they do smell but they are the best.

  15. That second picture of Phantom is one of the best!!!
You pups - your mom and dad are going to miss you even more than you're going to miss them. You'll be at a safe, safe place where the people will take care of you - and it will be full of new smells and stuff! Maybe they'll let you take the laptop with you, so you can give us updates?

  16. How can you ever leave those beautiful faces? They should get extra treats and your mom should figure a way to take the love seat, crate and what ever else you love to the kennel....its only fair. =)

  17. Thats a long time. 8 hours is too long for me. Will the secretary at the vet let you blog while you are there? Kinda like one phone call a day.
How will the Easter Bunny find you?
Ask your mum that question..maybe she will change her mind.
Better yet, lets have a party while there away....woohoo. I think it will be just fine and I bet if you are patient, your pawents will be back and have lots and lots of snackies and toys for you all.

  19. Oh, you poor things. It would be fine with me if my parents never left me in a kennel again. Only three more days and then it's off to jail for a crime you didn't commit - sigh.

    See ya!

  33. They will soon be back, so don't worry, and maybe you will get extra lovings at your kennels.

It's good there are three of you. I don't get sent away because there is only me and I would be lonely, anyway who would want to go anywhere without me?
