Our Howling Sunday Salute

Mason Dixie suggested we post a howling salute to Dakota today. Dakota was the champion wooer in our pack. Phantom isn't too bad but it is a rare occurrence. TD, on the other hand, makes lots of noise all the time, but it isn't always very melodious. And we had to coax him a bit to get it going. At the end of our video, we added the last woos we were able to record of Dakota, but we are sure she is serenading all her new furiends at the Rainbow Bridge and beyond and adding in some extra woos for Laska to come home.

Thanks, Mason Dixie and all our howling furiends.

Woos, Phantom and Thunder

  6. BeaWootiful sounds from a beawootiful pack! Mom will have to get me started up, so I can join in the wooing....all she will have to do is play this louder, although when she turns on the camera, I always stop and look at it.....

  21. Wow that is so nice. I am going to have a private howl over here. My Mom (who is kind of a slow learner) hasn't figured out how to put a video on my blog, but when I howl it is so loud that people can't believe that came from such a little pup. You would be proud of me.

  22. That was a be-WOOOOO-tiful tribute to Dakota! She certainly had a lovely voice. I have to share what happened here the other night. At around 4AM the dogs in the kennel howled...it was very short but incredibly sweet. It was the most be-woootiful howl I have heard from them. Immediately Princess Dakota came into my mind and I just KNOW that special howl was for her.
Thank you for sharing her howls with us,

  23. Woo - what beautiful songs your pups sing. Dakota's woo is almost ghostly, it's so lovely. I can't do much I'm afraid but respect the howls from Mason's video. I bow my head and listen.
    Inner woos and hugs xo

  43. Since we were in the RV, we did not play the howling videos over the weekend (preferring not to lose my hearing to The Herd and the inevitable choir that would come from them). But really enjoyed the video. I bet Dakota and Nikita have met up and are wooing a way!
