Celebrating Labor Day Siberian-Style

Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

Since Siberian Huskies are considered part of the working breed, we decided that it was only fair for us to be included in the celebration of Labor Day. So here is how we are cooperating with a day of rest.

A rare studmuffin pose captured by the flashy box operator. You can still see his shaved tummy from where the lump was removed.

Content and relaxed.

Oh Louie always ends up with the stick. He always brings it to mom since he gets patted on for doing it...
The Little Girl NEVER brings the stick back.. Sure don't know why we let her play..

  10. Now that's what I call a celebration!! We are still in the country but are going home tonight. Boo Woo!!!~ Mommy doesn't have to go to work tomorrow so that's what are going to do all day....sleep. Me and the Dachsies and their cousins, Jake and Maggie, have been having a great time and except at night when the snakes come out we would stay out all night if they'd let us. I chased a big black cow away from the fence my myself this afernoon but Aunt Mary said the cow saw Mommy coming and ran off. I prefer to think I chased him off
