Waiting Wednesday

We want you to know that these little bipeds really aren't that bad. Here they are finishing up breakfast and you know what that means??? Crumbs on the chair, crumbs on the floor, and if we are really lucky, we might get some leftover scrambled eggs on our kibble.

We also wanted to respond to some of your comments from yesterday.

Phantom rarely barks, but TD barks when he wants to go outside. Otherwise, we are a wooing only pack. And TD wants to thank you all for the compliments about his beautiful singing voice. The Momster would strongly disagree as she doesn't find it very melodious at all, not like our Princess Dakota's.

Thunder will not admit it but he actually enjoys the noise of that horn. He loves to make the same noise with his squeaky toys.

As for our patience, you are all so correct. The Momster has trained us well to be nice to the little ones. On any given weekday, there can be anywhere from one to five grandbipeds here. The youngest, Brady Bear, is only three months old. Then his brother is almost two and a half. The other family has the oldest girl who is 5 1/2 and the twins above who are almost three. Now you can understand why we have gates. They keep the kidlets away from us unless Mom lets us out with them one at a time. And the gates keep the little ones in one area so Mom can see what they are doing all the time. We love to lick them and sniff them and we always sit, never jump. Mom is always super careful with us and the kidlets, maybe too careful but she says you can never be too careful.

As for the camera, it's all a mystery to us. Photos are fine, but the videos have those weird colors happening.

Hey, what don't we hear? It is quiet here - that must mean the kidlets have all gone to school. But look, what about this box of stuffies? TD thinks they need some help.

Well, maybe not this kind of help but. . . .

And for our Phantom seekers, here is our handsome boy.

Thanks for visiting.

Woos,

  5. You both are the most handsome vacuum cleaners ever! I bark when someone comes into my yard and I howl to greet Daddy when he comes home from work and also when he throws his arms in the air and yells "touchdown!".

  6. The momma has started keeing a closer eye on me with the little people. You see I'm a food pug adn I tend to forget my manners when there is food around. Ecspecially when the food is in the hands of little ones that tend to keep it close to the ground or just drop it in general. I've been known to think it's my job to relieve a little one of a piece of salami because she was waving it around close the my head. What did the momma expect, that I would ignore the salami flag?!?!? Uh, no!!!

So you guys are my new role models. I need to learn to be patient like you two!!!

  7. Crumbs are always good. That's nice to know that you two love to woo. I(June) is also a wooer but I also like to bark. Sometimes I bark and then woo. Samantha barks and whines.

  8. I am worried that your camera is haunted because those were spooky color things happening there.

Thanks for explaining all that kidlet traffic. Yes, they need to be kept in a gated community lest they go off doing who knows what.

  9. Bipeds are great for dropping eatables. We think it is something they just know to do and forget as they grow older. Your mommma takes very good care of all of you.

  10. Wow! Up to 5 little humans at one time? I don't know if you know this about me, but I don't like little humans. Not even a little bit. When little humans visit our house I have to be locked up. I may be small but when it comes to little humans, I can be very, very scarey to them. I am not proud of this but it is who I am. You two dawgs are like ambassadors to the little humans. I am honored to know you!

  13. I keep telling Momma that the reason that I destroy all the squeakers is because they upset Eva.

Even though we don't have little kidlets of our own, I seem to be fine with them. But it's one more thing that the princess is scared of.

p.s. Eva says thanks for the pic of Phantom

  14. What beautiful photos today! Our mum thinks your mom is very wise to be so careful as you can never be sure with these little bipeds!
It is good for us dogs to learn how to behave with little bipeds - we dont have any in our family - yet!
    We liked your howling!!!

  15. I love all the little bi-peds I have met so far. The ones at the Daycare who just fuss over me, ones who share their sandwich, and my favorite is the ones who take naps in the afternoon. Then its a good time to lay down by their beds and keep them company!

  24. My, how they have grown! We remember when there was a row of high-chairs in the kitchen and now they are sitting at the table. Soon they will be too big to make messes. Of course, they would have to be bigger than my mom because she is pretty big and still makes messes.

  26. Oh yes, scrambled egg mixed in with kibble is one of the best things EVER!! We also really enjoy 'accidental eggs' - these are bits of scrambled eggs that get dropped onto the floor, he he! We once got a boiled egg this way too - ooh, it was good!

Your mom has trained you well - you are so good with the little human pups, we are quite in awe of you. Well, Max is as he can get quite excited around the human pups. JD is calm and patient and loves to be fussed and played with by them.

  34. How do we get your bipeds to visit our house and stay for a bit, guys? We'd love to find out what it's like to have scrabbled eggs on our breakie!

    Love ya lots

  35. Oh my human so agrees with your human - you can never be too careful with human pups and doggies! I hardly have any human pups come to visit me so my human is always very nervous on the few occasions some come to our house - but otherwise, I am very good whenever I meet them outside...the only problem is, I'm so big that sometimes I whack them without realising it! (like when I put a paw up to shake and smack them in the chest - those "toddler" types of human pups are awfully short!)

  44. Oooooo, YESH. It is always good when the little ones drop by because they drop food on the floor or their hands aren't too high off the floor or they don't want to finish their sandwish or soup. We get IT ALL and we ♥ those little ones! Hey, momma, when they gonna come for a sleep-over again?

  45. What beautiful baby faces! I don't have any human babies here, but I do enjoy finding food on the floor on ocassion. Humans are messy even as they grow up it seems, but its all good to me. I love the pictures of you both.

  50. Phantom and Thunder. There is something about you Siberian Huskies that makes Moma want to wrap her arms around you and hold you close and give you a big hug. Her bubba had two Huskies... she never knew 'em very well, but she knew how much her bubba adored them. Cool dogs, you are! (We've been inviting all the new ones we meet to come to Colorado for a romp in the snow this winter.)

Thanks for stopping by our blog. We've seen you around for like furever. It's nice to finally meet!

  55. I agree with you mom, you can never be too careful with pups and kiddbi-peds. Accidents happen when one isn't looking. Tails get stepped on or ears get pulled and even the nicest pups can get cranky about that.

Nice tongue flick Phantom, how gorgesous you are! And TD, you are too sexy for those stuffies!
