Sentry Duty on Sunday

These photos were taken from inside, please excuse the quality. The pups were happy to have a nice morning outside and each took up their positions as yard guards.

Both checking out the south quadrant.

Phantom looking more closely.

Now for the north side.

Looking very serious and intent.

A slight change of location to check out things from a different angle.

OK, work detail is done. Now it looks like it might be the humans turn to take care of their work with these leaves.

. . . while I do THIS.

Woos, the OP Pack

  1. You guys are the best guard dogs, bet your humans feel really safe with the two of you around. We love that last photo - oooh, we'd so love to snuggle up and have a cosy snooze with you! :) Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.

  2. Wow, we know we would never ever go into your yard if you were guarding it... we'd wait to be invited in.

Our mommy can't get over how beautiful and regal you two are.

We'd guard too if we had a yard, so for now we're just practicing the sleeping part. hehehe

  34. Hey there Phantom and Thunder,
    GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA!
We are truly amazed at the effort you guys all put in to this Halloween time. We don't really have much of it here in SA. AND Thunder - you look stunning in your knight's armour - we went off to Hansels site to give you a vote.
By the way, sorry we haven't been around to visit you yet - for some reason your contact with us got lost in the woodwork. Looking forward to becoming good friends.
Also - just to tell you - I also am the stuffy king in this household (and DO NOT destroy them...they are piled high in my special corner)
