Walkin' and Wheelin' Wednesday

It was such a beautiful day here yesterday. We love to go for walks with the Momster but the first one yesterday was extra special because we had the company of one of our favorite little kidlets. She has been riding her little bike without the training wheels for a while now, but she wasn't quite sure if she wanted to try the big 20" one without the added security of the training wheels. Watch and see how well she did on her first day on the "big" bike.

Tasty Tuesday Treat

I think it is going to be a good day.

What's up there on the counter, Mom?
I can see it, I can smell it, I want to taste it.

WHAT IS THAT???

Mom says they are 100% Natural treats made only from Wild Pacific Salmon Skin. These chews are ideal for non-aggressive or light chewers (softer chew). And they don't last a long time so no worries about stealing from each other.

OK, I'm sitting. Can I have it please?

Let's try a more serious look.

How about some cuteness and puppy dog eyes?

If I go down and look away, can I have it?

Do we have to play Limbo now?

Hey, that smells really good, but she's got that flashy box out again.

I just might have to give in, this smells way too good
to play hard-to-get with her today.

Darn, I wasn't fast enough to beat the flash, but I think she is going to give it to me.

Yummers! More please!!!

ManDog MonDay

This is why we didn't post this weekend:

Just being lazy like the Momster. We promise we will try to do better this week.

But, Thunder here, I do have to tell you that I did have some fun on Saturday. I can't show you any pics but I found him right here.

What did I find? A SNAKE!!!! He was about five feet long and really ugly. I made the mistake of flipping him up in the air and Mom saw me. She ran over and made me leave it, which I did like a good pup. I thought she was going to help me out by cooking it a bit. But NO, she got a shovel and threw it over the fence where I couldn't get it. What was she thinking?

Here I am carefully checking the grounds to see
if he managed to slither back into my territory.

Yeah, I can see you in there, Mom, keeping tabs on me. Don't worry, I haven't found him yet.

Meanwhile, today I was outside on the deck when Mom heard a bang and came to the door to see what I was doing.

This is what she saw on the deck. I raced down the stairs as fast as I could. But then I heard those darn words again. 'Leave it.'

Be forewarned - the next pic isn't pretty.

Here is what I had to leave.

Now you tell me. . .

Am I a ManDog on MonDay or what?

I am Thunder Dunder the Hunter.

Pee Ess from Mom: Very frustrated here, spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to add speech bubbles to photos, did it, and then couldn't get Blogger to upload the photos, no clue why.

Who is the winner?

Grandma, let's have a race!

Sounds like fun to us, right, Phantom?

OK, Phantom and Thunder, let's go.

Hey, she's beating us. C'mon, TD, pick up the pace.

That's better, we can pass her now.

Hey, she's gaining on us again!

Don't blame me, Phantom, it's Mom's fault, she just can't keep up!

We are almost there now, Phantom, one more big pull forward.

YAY!!!! The winners!!!

We had a very slow and leisurely start to our day today.

It was cool and dry out on the deck at 7:30 am
so we both decided to take it easy.

But before we forget, we are long overdue in telling you about two awards we received from some very nice furiends.

Mollie Jo and Bobo from Dog Eared thought they would share this lovely creation from the Purple Hatter.

We have been pretty lax in getting our posts up lately so we aren't sure we deserve this one. Not much earthshaking been going on around here lately. The Momster says there is nothing wrong with that, but we do wish we were doing a better job here with our posts.

If you haven't met the Piappies, you really need to go and say hi to them. They gave us this award.

Thanks to Mollie Jo and Bobo and all the Piappies for being so kind. If you haven't already received these awards and you would like them, please help yourself.

Eventually we got a bit more energy and managed to get the Momster to take us for a walk. She is still working on getting the video colors to work correctly on the flashy box so we only have photos today. We got to do some of this:

And this:

And over the bridge we go.

Checking out all the good smells - and some pretty flowers too.

Phantom is trying to hide from the flashy beast.

Take a look at these beautiful marigolds, Mom, wouldn't Dakota have loved their brilliant yellow color? (This way, I don't have to look at her:)

OK, I'll look just this once.

I told you, just ONCE.

Try Thunder, he doesn't seem to mind posing quite as much.

OK, we had our walk, we are very hungry now. When are you going to fire this grill up and get on with barbecuing our steaks?
