Monday Musings

Sad woos today. One of our furiends crossed to the Rainbow Bridge over the weekend. Ziggy Marley was such a gentle boy. Please visit his blog or his brother Pedro's to leave a few words of comfort for his family.

Run free, sweet Ziggy - we will miss you.

**********

Recently we found a new blog that we really do enjoy - Sagira's Blog. Here is a little bit of background on Sagira.
I am an agility dog. I am a husky/sheltie mix that came from a high kill shelter. I was scheduled to be euthanized until the nice people rescued me. I went to a foster home and I am so darn cute I made my foster mom and dad break their "no adopting" rule and they chose to make me a permanent part of the family. I love life here. I am spoiled rotten. I have two brothers, Harley is an 12 year old black lab and Samick is a 10 year old All American like me. I also have an 9 year old sister who is a Weimaraner. Her name is Starr and she is the boss of the family.
Isn't she just so cute? Sagira and the rest of her furamily are eager to meet some other bloggers. So if you can, please stop by and say hello.

Meanwhile, back on the home front, we are sadly saying good bye to our snow.

Yikes - I just can't bear to walk on that green stuff.

Oh, the horror - I just can't look!

We did get to take a nice walk with Mom today, even if it meant we had to endure the big towel wipedown when we got back. But as you can see we have moved our patrol post to the deck to try to avoid all that green that is creeping into our yard.
It is going to be a rainy week here, but we did hear there is a big storm brewing for the weekend. We sure hope it is a SNOWstorm. Woos, Phantom and Thunder

  14. Sagira IS a great gal, isn't she...and she is SO involved! Thanks for letting everyone know about her. Snow IS predicted for later in the week; I will keep my paws crossed for you. Winter is far from over yet. We are sorry to hear about Ziggy's crossing. We hope his family finds peace and comfort knowing he is carefree and well on the other side of the Bridge. Thank you so much for YOUR kind words of comfort to my mom... she found much solace in all of the thoughtfulness expressed on our blog.

  39. Our snow is all gone, but it left mud behind. Mom is tired of washing all our feet every couple hours, so Dad is putting straw on top of the mud. That's fun to sniff and poke around in.

  45. Hi guys,

We went over and visited with Ziggy's family yesterday. So sad.
We will go over and say hi to your new friends. She sure is cute.
Tell your parents that "The Lovely Bones" was very well done and Mommy enjoyed it. Mommy read the book when it first came out and the movie follows the book pretty well .Even though she knew what was gonna happen she still set on the edge of her seat.
