Watching and Waiting Wednesday - Not Very Wordless

Still on patrol for the Snow Thief.

We still have snow.

Not quite as fluffy any more, but no grass in sight yet.

Do I want to come inside? Heck no, this feels great!

Mom, can you find my shades, please?

I think I smell an intruder's scent.

Contemplating what to do next.

Maybe I will take you up on that offer now, Mom.

Too bad we don't have one of those handicap assistance buttons
to get this door open.

The snow is safe for now. Time to hunker down for a snooze.
(A rare moment of us together on the same sofa.

  2. First! (We think unless Khyra comments while we are typing.)

I am so glad your snow is still safe. We don't even have any in the forecast, just more rain, which is making our yard a swamp and Mom and Dad very sad about the money they spent on grass.

  8. our snow is going fast now, we had freezing rain today, but it is all melting.

My J says thank goodness we have had ten inches of the snow for the past month, and it is beyond a joke!

All our roads now it is thawing are rising up with frost and snow damage, so when we go out in the car it is a bumpy ride!

You look lovely in the pics though!

sorry I am late in commenting, so many blogs, nowadays! And we try valiantly to comment on them all!

  9. Glad to see you are protecting your snow! When I lived in Chicago, I wanted the snow to stay all winter long, it made everything so much more pretty!

We saw some dog sun glasses at our local pet boutique... but they didn't look very comfortable! Our dear Bailey would benefit greatly from some shades... she gotten cataracts in her old age, but yeah right like she would wear glasses!

Glad you two are sort of cuddling on the couch together, cute!!!

  34. You guys look like you have been in snow heaven. And you've done a great job of keeping it nice and white (even if packed down.) Ours is turning a bit polka dotted ... big yellow spots and lots and lots of little brown ones. (Don't blame us. It's the deer and elk. And even the bunnies.)

  36. You guys should leave a poopy trap for the snow thief! He'll step on it, and leave a trail that you can follow back to his crate. And then you can catch him then!

  42. Hurray! The snow thief came by my house today. He didn't take it all but at least it isn't higher than I am tall anymore. Maybe the snow thief will only come to MO and stay out of KS. I really like your photos today. Phantom looks a bit smug in that 3rd one.

  44. You two look so comfortable in that snow. Hopefully you'll have lots more chances to enjoy it before spring.

Hee hee, those weren't meatballs in my breakfast (but I WISH they were). They are cold-processed blueberries & cranberries that add antioxidants to my diet. It's the Blue Buffalo brand of dog food. I like to toss those little bits around the floor because they're hard to bite into.
