Thurdays Testing of Siesta Time Techniques

I am tired of waiting for my walk. Mom seems very busy. Time to find a good napping spot.

I wonder how long I will be able to fit my head under this.

A closer look.

I think this suits me much better. But I do have to share this cubby with Thunder. My turn now.

Woos, Ciara

Ciara, the ironing board looks like a close fit! The cubby is great but how are you and Thunder going to fit in there together. I guess you could sleep on top of him there...wonder if he would mind? Lots of love, Debbie and Holly

Cubby gets our vote too. We spend lots of time under Muzzer's feet at the deskie thing...and lots of good spats about who gets to be closer.

My dogs all want to sleep under the ironing board, too, but I chase them away. If they jump up and knock the iron over they could get hurt.

The Thundering Herd said...

Excellent sleepy spots,. but don't knock the iron on your head.

Clive said...

Great comfy places but just watch out for that iron!

take care

I like sleeping under the ironing board too, but my Mom says No!, the iron could fall off and I could get a brainal injurey. Not sure about the cubby, it looks a little too close for me. I don't like to be quite so snug.

Ciara you sure have found the best places to rest.. We love the last one.
No we didn't head North again but MeMaw sent us a picture and the corn is up to Grampy's chest now.. They have had a lot of rain and that corn sure likes it..

Ciara, I prefer to stretch out in a high traffic area. This results in the people often stopping to pet me as they have to walk over me on their way to what they believe to be more important things. Lilac would like that cubby though!

Really? In that heat? Your mom is IRONING!!! My mom says it is too hot to iron when it is only 59 degrees! Even a walk isn't tempting here this afternoon...maybe after sunset.

Samantha said...

The ironingboard base is certainly a creative choice for a snooze spot! Never would have thought of it! But you are the grand hussy in that cubby place - fits you to a "T" - you are so cute!

Hi, Ciara!
The cubby sure is a pawesome place for good naps!
I like to stay under the ironing table but my grandma makes me go away all the time... she is afraid one day the iron will hit my head!
Kisses and hugs

That is a curious place for a nap. Are you certain that it is comfy? How do you ever get back out again?

BeadedTail said...

We think the cubby hole looks much better Ciara! You're starting to fill out that spot nicely!

PeeS: Tell your mom that we haven't heard back from Sadie's v-e-t yet to know what she found out about her high BP but our mom will certainly contact your mom if she has questions since she's been through this before. We appreciate her support!

I agree that the cubby looks a lot cozier. And that ironing board looks kinda scary. There's that smokey steamy thing that always sits on it!

Martha and Bailey said...

We agree, the cubby hole looks the best place for you Ciara.
We are also a little scared to the steamy thing that moms seem to spend a lot of time with.
We are not sure your head will fit under there for much longer anyways so best move now before you get stuck!

That ironing board appears to be some sort of fiendish dog-trapping device. I would avoid it at all costs.

Hi Ciara - oooh, we nap draped over and under the legs of the ironing board too! Why do humans do such boring things - they should be playing with US! And you look simply adorable in your cubby hole too! Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.

Ha! That cubby looks extremely comfy, can I crawl in there too? Reminds me of Ruby in her puppy crate the day before we brought her the larger one. ;)
