Thursday's Report

How I spend most of my day and night - my crate is not very comfortable. It is really hard to turn around in there with this so-called "comfy" cone. So I decided to just rest on the floor.

What did you say, Mom?

Report???? You have my report already???? What does it say?

Yes, Phantom. Your report is here already. We are so surprised to have it back so fast.

What does it say? Well, it isn't great but it isn't all that bad. It is the same type of tumor as the one removed from your chest last year. It has a high likelihood of recurrence, most likely in the same area and it is malignant. The pathologist says there are clean margins of 3 millimeters. Once again they would prefer to see at least 3 centimeters. The good news is that this time it is only a grade 2 malignancy whereas the last one was grade 3. We have to be happy with the results. They could have been so much worse. Phantom, you are going to do just fine - now please cooperate and take your medicine.

The power of the paw from all of you out there really does work wonders. The Feisty Three have a post up today about their concern for all of our friends out there in need of support and prayer and good thoughts. Here is what they say:

We have had so much sad news in the DWB community lately. We are furry sad about Bear Bear and Dr. Dre. We are also furry worried about our furiend Phantom. We asked Moms, if she could help us do something about it. She suggested that we start a DWB prayer chain for all of our furiends. So, please join us in the Paws of Prayer circle by posting to your bloggies!

Photobucket

Thank you to Indiana, Shingo, and Molly and their Mom for being so kind and thoughtful. So if you would like to join this Paws of Prayer Circle, please post this badge on your blog. We too are horrified by the story of Bear Bear and we feel very badly for the family of Dr. Dre. We certainly hope that justice is done for Bear Bear and his family, and we send our deepest sympathies to the family of sweet little Dr. Dre.

I didn't know Dr. Dre but I read the final post and was shocked and saddened. What a horrific ending for the poor little guy! I don't know who Bear Bear is and since no one has linked to him yet that I've seen, I'm not familiar with his story. I'm still going to pray for him though.

    I'll post this banner tomorrow.
