Friday's Fluff and Fur

Ooops!

What happened here? Now who do you suppose is the guilty pup?

Whodunit?

We are sure you all have a very confident answer to that question - right?

OK - admit it, Phantom is NOT the pup that came to mind, is he?

You all thought for sure it was ME. Nope, just a rare moment for Phantom showing that there is still a touch of puppy in him:)

BUT what is THIS???

It smells a lot like me. Hmmmmm, the Momster can be a destuffer too:)

Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara

Note from the Momster: The little guy's tests all came back as normal which is good, but still no real answers. Back to physical therapy for muscle strengthening and work on confidence building. Very frustrating:(

  1. Honestly, i was thinking it was Ciara :(
How could I imagine that Phantom could do such things?! :D

  2. We guessed it!!!

    Go Phantom Go!!!

It is so much fun to keep the humans guessing!!!

As for the floof and phloof kind of stuff, I'm doing that right now - Mom starts plukhking and plukhking - then the khombing and brushing starts - so in THIS khase, I'm glad she goes to work!

Glad to see the testing didn't reveal anything serious and such but sorry it didn't really show much -

  3. Boy were we wrong. We thought for sure it was Ciara or Thunder Dunder.

  4. We had to catch up on the post we had missed. We have our paws crossed that the Grandbiped will be able to stand on his own soon.

  5. Phantom! OMD! You are sooooooooo busted! Makes me wonder how many time phantom set sweet innocent Ciara up for the fall! We always see the serious side of Phantom so it's great fun to see him silly!

Wouldn't it be great, though, if all the little biped needed was some exta excercize? Hoping that's the case!

    FUREVER!

  6. It is good to see a different side of Phantom, and to know that he lets his patriarchal pose slip on occasion.

Glad there were no "serious" answers out of the testing, but hope you can find some resolution or direction soon.

  7. No.....not Phantom. I tinks his body was taken over by da ghost of destuffers past or da monster from da green lagoon or sometin' like dat!

Dat's good news bout da grand biped. Maybe he's just stubborn like a weenie dog. He says he'll do it when he's good and ready.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Ah, Phantom! You made me giggle, you elder statesdog! Were you showing Ciara how it's done?

R has a trick - he de-stuffs a toy and then places it next to the innocent sleeping K. It really looks like she's the culprit but we've seen him pull this trick so we don't fall for it!

As for the grandbiped, I bet that you're all very frustrated... but I'm also guessing that anything that an MRI would show would be something that you do *not* want him to have. So, in that sense, it's probably good news. We're rooting for him.

When I was recovering from my toughest spine surgery ever about 5 years ago, I taught K all sorts of service dog "tricks". One was that she walked steadily next to me when I felt wobbly. I could put a hand on her back or even on her head if I needed stability. Maybe one of your pups could do that for the little boy... but it was a tough one to teach.

  11. What da heck???? I sooooo thought it was Ciara! Goodness, I'm in shock heres.
A scarf would be nice made outta her hairs:)

Dats good news bouts da little peep but nerve rackin at da same time cuz theres no answers. But, Amber might be right too...he'll do things on his own time. Maybe he just has his own schedule. But whatevers, he'll still be in our thoughts and prayers.

  12. Ciara, we offer our apologies for ever suspecting you of being the guilty party!

At least the MRI didn't show something bad! Needing to do more therapy sounds better than having a tumor and needing scary surgery. We still have our paws crossed for him!

Does the little grandguy walk holding on to furniture and things?
I am betting he will walk when he is ready.

  23. Dang, I made the wrong guess! BOL, A de-stuffs me, but I don't have that much to be de-stuffed.

I hate how you're stuck with no definite answers, very frustrating! Keeping my paws crossed tightly for the little guy.

  42. Have you ever thought of keeping all that nice, soft wooly fur from your pups and having someone spin it into yarn so someone (like me) could crochet you a Christmas ornament out of your dog's hair?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Nope, that wasn't our guess.

Glad the tests were normal. Hope the puzzle is solved soon.

  44. Ciara, we totally thought it was woo!! Mom thinks KB's suggestion is very interesting, but she's right, hard to teach. What is "the pest" could be a service dog!?

  47. hehe...You got me. I thought for sure it was Ciara. But Phantom? Never. He really did an efficient job on that poor stuffie. poor Ciara looks very worried about being destuffed! I hope that's not really what the pups think!

Speaking of stuffies - i found that pretty red husky at Walgreens and now Nyxie snuggles with him when I;m not looking. What is it about that stuffie!? Thanks for the tip, though - it was an early Valentines present to myself ;)

Glad the tests cam back clear I like KB's suggestion to motivate movement with one of the pups. Not sure if it could help, but dogs just have a way with kids.

  48. Haaaa!
Phantom! I am happy to see you there destuffing the stuffy!
    Good job!
Hmmm.... sorry Ciara. I thought it was something you did it!
I guess Momster took your fur... to fill the stuffy!
I hope everything goes well with the little guy!
