Phantom on Friday

We all know how much Phantom "loves" to have his photo taken - NOT!
But today this will be a full-of-Phantom post!

Let's start with a few flower shots.

Take a good look at these pretty hyacinths, they may be gone after this weekend. Yes, we have rain, wind, sleet, ice, and snow coming in tomorrow into early Sunday. These fragrant flowers popped up way too early this year.

And this mini-magnolia tree was hoping to welcome Spring lovers, but sadly these blossoms won't last long either:(

But enough about the weather, I am on a mission today, so let's go.

Let's head this way first.

Wait, I think I might have more luck if we go this way instead.

OK, we are at the start of my big adventure. I am trying to find something very important. Let's get going.

Checking out this plant, lots of good hiding places under there.

I didn't find it in that first one, maybe over here. Hold on a sec, Mom.

I once saw a kitty go down here, maybe my treasure is down there.

Hmmmm, this looks like a great spot. Maybe I should have brought a shovel.

Are you wondering what I am looking for? Do you watch Survivor? My humans are big fans of that show. I heard one of the castaways named Rob talking about finding something called an immunity idol. I don't know exactly what it is, but I know it has some magic power to keep the finder safe.

Well, we are back where we started from, and I didn't find that idol yet.

Are you wondering why I am searching for an immunity idol? Well, I figure I could really use something with magic powers. I had a vet visit this week. Ciara was headed in for her annual exam and shots and all that stuff, and I thought I was just going along to give her some moral support. But it seems that I was there to let the V-E-T take a look at my lip. The Momster found another ugly lump growing there. To tell the truth, there are a lot of new ugly and hard bumps on my head and neck and upper body too. None of what the vet had to say was very good, but I don't want to dwell on that here. I had a good walk, did some good snoofing, and am ready for a little snooze. And if I am really lucky, maybe I will have some snow tomorrow.

If any of you get any clues on the whereabouts of that immunity idol,
can you share them with me?

Woos, Phantom

  1. I don't know if it occurs everywhere, but in this job and in my last job... there was an unofficial immunity idol. It would appear on someone's desk one day, another desk another day. I have absolutely no idea why!

  57. Oh Phantom! I'm so sorry to hear about those yucky bump sickies on your beautiful face! But I can see from your pictures that you're still enjoying your walks and sniffing things and going places - which is what's important to us doggies, isn't it? I mean, we don't really understand when vets go on about bumps and things - that's what humans are for: to get stressy about things like that! But I guess sometimes it's a blessing that we don't really understand and think about those kinds of stuff! As long we get pats and treats and interesting walks, we're happy! :-)
