Sunday Late Edition

Rather a blah day here, cold and wet for the first day of May. But we wanted to at least share some fun photos from our week. I also wanted to thank all of you for the wonderful birthday wishes. I had a great day and I will share with you later this week the special surprise the Momster got for me.

We actually had a few spectacular sunny days here in OP, true springtime weather. And just wait until you see our yard.

Just chilling by the playset - no new residents trying to move in to the lower level of our condo. And we hear the new paint job is going to be happening soon.

Enjoying a gorgeous afternoon and hoping we were going to get a walk - and we DID!

Yes, the grass is nice, maybe not as much fun as the no-sibe zone.

There it is - and it is still intact. Ciara is proud to tell you that there have been no breaches of the border.

Just passing by.

And yes, the hostas are flourishing.

The new fence has been such a success that the Momster is getting braver.

Do you see what I see? Fresh, new, young plants above me in the planters. And look behind me, she has even dared to put out two pots with plants in them.

Seriously, Mom, do you really think this is going to happen this year? WHAT???? You are putting ME, Thunder, in charge of protecting the pots???? Now we are sure you have lost your mind.

What was that? Where is Phantom? We haven't forgotten to include the other member of the pack. Poor Phantom is sick again.

Phantom posed for this shot earlier in the week when he was having a good day. Look at that smile.

But he finished his meds on Thursday, and by Saturday all his sickies have returned. He will be off to the vet again tomorrow.

Ciara has her paws crossed for her big brother to be feeling better.

Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara

I loved the tour of your beautiful yard. The no Sibe Zone is just lovely... butt I am still thinking it would be STELLAR with a Sibe or two in there.

  9. When I was about 12 my family moved. Of course we got a puppy :-) My mother planted some flowers in the yard and put some chicken wire around them. One day I overheard her saying, "Daisey, STAY OUT OF THE FENCED-IN AREA!!" I started laughing at the absurdity of this command - like Daisey knew what the FENCED-IN AREA was. But you know what? She never dug up those flowers after that!!

Channeling my mother: PHANTOM, FEEL BETTER!!

    Gentle rottie kisses!

Ciara, I love how you are nonchalantly wondering around the No-Sibe Zone. If anything just happens to occur in the No-Sibe Zone you can just blame it on the bunnies and squirrels. Or neighborhood cats!

The momster is getting very very bold! I bet that Ciara is lulling her into a sense of security. And then, Boom! Our R has done that to us many times :)

Just kidding... Maybe your puppy is growing up. Funny, she still looks small to me. Perhaps that's because I met her as a puppy.

  63. You are mighty brave, indeed, to put those new plants up on the deck! We haven't had a potted plant outside on our patio since Riley was about 6 months old and she completely dug up the flower pot we had out back! Now Grandma wants to put a hanging planter up on the fence, but we just haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

I still love that little barrier you put up for the No Sibe Zone! It's very attractive and we can't believe it's kept the Sibes out so far!
