Thankful Thursday and Happy Cinco De Mayo

Today Thunder wants to say thanks to some pups and peeps.

First up, the Honorable Mayor of Blogville, Mr. Frankie Furter, sent Thunder a wonderful birthday card.

Awww, cute puppy and cute stuffy.

You are one of our favorite friends too, Frankie Furter. Thanks so much for remembering my barkday in such a nice way.

Now we want you to take at good look at this photo.

What does it remind you of? Something delectable you might find in your yard?

Hmmmm, it smells good, wonder how it tastes?

Well, if you thought I was eating some of those tasty rabbit pellets that appear in the grass, you were on the right track, but you were a little bit wrong.

Those pellets came out of THIS bag!!!! Rabbit food for DOGS!!! Can you believe it?

I am not kidding you! AND the Momster bought it for me as a special surprise for my birthday. It was so good and I shared it with Ciara. Mom said Phantom has to wait to try it until his tummy is better. Ciara and I only get to have a few pieces added to our regular kibble because we don't want to upset our tummies with too much of something new. But let me tell you - it is really yummy.

Thanks, Mom - that was a great present.

We also want to thank Max the Quilt Cat for picking us as the winners in his blogaversary contest. We were so surprised when Max sent us an email to tell us we had won. We only just met Max and the rest of his furamily this week. We feel very lucky and special to have won a $10.00 gift card to use at Amazon.com.

We are hoping Mom will use it to get us some more of that great duck jerky the White Dog Army sent to us. By the way be sure to stop by the White Dog Army and welcome the newest recruit to the troops - YoYo. He is a handsome boy and so lucky to find his forever home with the WDA and family. We are thankful today for the wonderful humans all of the White Dogs have.

We also want to wish all of you a Happy Cinco de Mayo Day - have lots of fun on this festive day.

Happy Cinco De Mayo!

Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara

  8. Happy Birthday Thunder - that does look like a great treat. With my tummy troubles I can only eat bison and venison - I wonder if rabbit would be okay for me too. I hope phantom gets to try some soon - he looks awfully sad in that last photo - even though he is wearing a funny hat.

  15. Happy Sing-Co Dee My-Oh, everybuddy! Maybe to celebrate, mom will give you a few extra of those rabbit pellets. Do doggies in Mexico eat rabbit pellets, too?

Speaking of rabbit pellets, mom was laying in the yard the other day and Brudder Ranger ate some of the pellets in our yard and then ran up and gave mom a big ol' kiss right on the mouth! Haha! It was sooooo funny. Even if she didn't seem to think so.
