Monday Monday

Pausing to remember and honor Kodiak of The Thundering Herd.

Run free, Big Red. Wear your silver harness with pride. We will all miss you. Our hearts go out to The Herd and your Hu-dads. Mom said it is a good day to give your beloved furries some extra hugs.

************

As a working breed, Ciara and Lightning are supervising the work being done by the house painters. It is not an easy job watching these ladders.

Just taking a bit of a break and keeping an eye on that guy with the brush in his hands. Wish we could help.

Phantom and Thunder are content to let the younger set do the work - they are waiting for the steaks to be done.

Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning.

  52. I agree with your words on our blog...something moved us all about Kodiak's passing. Extra hugs is the recipe, for sure.

I like how Lightning & Ciara take their duties as working dogs seriously. Supervision is a very important part of work. Phantom & Thunder have equally important roles - food watcher. Hey, somebody has to do it, right? Seniority has its perks!

  53. Hi Guys!!

What a beautiful proud looking dog Kodiak was, run free at the bridge big fella.

We can't get over how big Lightening has got, and sooo good looking like the rest of you.

Great supervisory work there, those ladders can be very dangerous, I expect there are tips on them this safety week ;-)
