Woe is me on Wooless Wednesday

I think I need some help here.

Mom says today is my big boy day. I thought I already WAS a big boy - that's what all of you keep saying.

So I checked with my pal Ciara, but she just said today is Wooless Wednesday.

Along came Thunder, but all he would say was "snip snip time".

Hey, where did she come from? She said she heard Grandma say I was getting a microchip - is that something good to eat like those barbecue chips in the cabinet?

Then I asked the old and wise Phantom (he is going to be 13 this month), but can you believe it - he just laughed!!!

The last thing I heard from Mom was that it was time to get in the car and head off for my "tutoring". All these big words have me very confused.

Woos and woe is me - Lightning

  1. This is such a good thing for you, Lightning! You might have to wear a collar when you come home, just for a few days. but you will never be sorry you did this.

    Take my word for it.

  2. hey Ligtning,

RUN!!! I don't think you will want tutoring. I didn't, but it happened anyway. Oh well, I suppose we must face the inevitable. Be strong! My paws are crossed that it all goes well and you are healthy.

You will be a big boy now, but just with a softer "woo." BOL!

  4. I am afraid that microchips aren't for eating. Don't worry about your "tutoring" -- it will only be sore for a day or two. It will help you be a happier, healthier dog.

  5. Oh my Lightning, I is sorry that you won't be getting any BBQ chips. The one you will get won't hurt, but ah, well, ah you won't feel a thing, kinda.

But in the long run you will thank your Pawrents for being the responsible Pawrents that they are!

    woos, Tessa

  9. I asked my Boxer and he sighed and said "All over before it even begins!" Then he rolled over and went back to sleep.

Too bad his tutoring didn't take care of his "tooting!"

    Good luck!

  25. Hey Lightning!
Wow, what great pix! Ah, yes, the tutoring. It's a rite of passage that we must bear. The cone of shame will be the worst part. The extra attention and treats will be the best part. You will just be missing a few parts! BWAR HAR HAR.
I'm sending you some healing vibes and all will be well.

  31. We're all girls here so we don't really know about the tutoring Lightning but we're crossing our paws and purring you recover from the tutoring quickly! We're glad you're getting microchipped even if it's not something yummy to eat!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Oh, Lightning, you are in for a big surprise. We suggest a nice long nap when you get home.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Don't listen to any of them Lightning, just RUN run like the wind, be gone in a flash like the little bolt of "Lightning" that you are. go my friend, don't even stop to Pack your bags. run....

Whoops, you are already in the car, aren't you.

Oh well Dude, at least this way you can stay with your family. Sorry, but it is inevitable.

Just think of that big cone around your head as a left over halloween accessory.

See ya when the lights come back on.

And be sure to ask for drugs....lots and lots of drugs

    Bert

    ReplyDelete
  34. Oh no! I'm afraid I'm too late. Well, all's I gotta say is you're gonna get some good drugs while you're out today.

  36. tutoring made me very sleepy, clumsy, and I had to pee a lot. Don't lick back there and they won't put you in a cone. I didn't need a cone.

  37. Lightning get out of there while you still can! It's a cover, there is no "tutoring." Dive! Dive! Dive!

Too Late?? Sorry dude, we all must pass that way sometime.

Sending paw prayers that all goes well and you are home safe and sound in no time. <3

    ReplyDelete
  38. Well, it depends on who you ask. The girls all say" this is a great day". Sky and Noah just sigh and say "You'll get over it". Fudge says "Run for the hills and don't look back."

As far as the microchip goes, it doesn't hurt and could be the best thing ever.

    Good luck little guy.

As for the microchip, if you ketchup on it, I'm purrty sure that will make it very tasty. Mom went shopping ALL day and is so late checking in...there will be demerits.

  68. Ahhh, the "big boy" surgery! (Quick, run for the hills!)

Wow, Lightning is beautiful. I can't believe how big he is! He blends in perfectly with the rest of the beautiful family.

Hope the surgery all went well! My Wolf cried the whole night, the whole next morning, and most of that day. It was a long night! But he is a very sensitive boy. Poor guy, he had a recessed "item" that only just dropped the day before his surgery. No wonder he cried.
