Mother, may I . . .please?

Hmmmm, what have we here?  First time I have seen anything like this.  It was a Mother's Day present to Mom from the little grandbipeds.

Sniff, sniff, any bunnies in there?

Mom says I can't eat it.

If I close my eyes, I can almost taste it.

Awwww, please, just one little nibble.

Ciara told me she got in big trouble when she was younger and ruined Mom's potted plants.
Note from the Momster: there will be NO potted plants on the deck this year other than in the taller planters:)

Now what am I supposed to do?

Waaaaaaaa!!!

Woos, Lightning

  8. What are they called? The purple and yellow flowers look very pretty. I don't have a green thumb so most of the flowers I try to plant... well, let's just say, they always turn out brown and wilted.

Happy Mother's Day to the Woo Mom!

  11. Morning Lightning
what a most beautiful hanging basket your Mom rec'd from the little people. Mom moves the yellow and purple. Good to know there will not be any plants in harms way this year.

I got into trouble on Saturday night.
There was a well wrapped apple pie on our bar...my peeps were outside on the porch eating theirs and did not give me any so I knocked the entire pie on to the floor. AND I sat right beside it until the peeps came in. I proudly owned up to the deed too. Luckily the the pie was only a tad disfigured.

  15. Hey Lightning!
Wow, what pretty flowers! Mom wants to know if those are Million Bells. The colors are really pretty and would have gone well with your fur if only you'd been allowed to play with them. I don't understand that either. Sigh. Dirt was made for digging!

  17. I just don't get why humans have those things around and then yell at us not to eat them. Do we put a salad bar in their house and then yell at them not to eat?!

  24. Lightning, you listen to your Mom and not to Ciara. Your sis thinks she's a master gardener, but her technique needs some work.

  27. Hey there, So glad you listened to your mom and left the plant alone, just daydreamed about it!!! Even though it is beautiful, it could always upset your tummy-plus your mom. The littles were very thoughtful to bring it to her. Now you can all enjoy it, up high and safe.
    High Paws to you today.

  28. Maybe you can make some kind of deal with the squirrels and bunnies - like they get in the pot and pass you down some goodies?

It all depends how deep that pot is, not that it is high... if I had been you, you should have taken your chance and put your paws RIGHT IN TO START WITH... looks good diggin soil.....

  44. Hi Lightning, that is a beautiful pot but it looks better hanging up. Too much temptation isn't it mate. Mum hasn't got many pots with plants left thanks to us, woops! No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  45. Well, that certainly presents a challenge. I suspect that if you think about it long enough that you will figure something out. Just remember to wipe your nose off before going inside. You can use Ciara for that. Nobody will ever suspect the little princess of messing with the plants.
