Hmmmm, what have we here? First time I have seen anything like this. It was a Mother's Day present to Mom from the little grandbipeds.
Sniff, sniff, any bunnies in there? |
Mom says I can't eat it. |
If I close my eyes, I can almost taste it. |
Awwww, please, just one little nibble. |
Ciara told me she got in big trouble when she was younger and ruined Mom's potted plants. |
Now what am I supposed to do? |
Waaaaaaaa!!! |
Woos, Lightning
Woof! Woof! Oh What a lovely flowers for your mom and a perfect spot in your garden. Lots of Golden ALOHA n Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful garden! It seems the flowers and plants are well-protected, seriously!!!
ReplyDeleteI hear in real fancy restaurants that they put pretty flowers in food. Hope you get a little nibble.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Get a grip on it, Lightning! Go look for bunnies elsewhere and leave the flowers be. What a nice gift from the little kidlets!
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Stella
No bunnies? what about squirrels?
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Maxx
Here's a tip for you Lightning! There just might be CHIPPIES in there!!! We have found them hiding out...just sayin'
ReplyDeleteBeautiful gift for your mom from the little ones!!
Love your garden!!
xoxo Chloe and LadyBug
Those were really gorgeous flowers for your human Mom. You had a sensational garden. :)
ReplyDeleteDog Fence
What are they called? The purple and yellow flowers look very pretty. I don't have a green thumb so most of the flowers I try to plant... well, let's just say, they always turn out brown and wilted.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day to the Woo Mom!
Huggies and Cheese,
Haopee
Tee Hee Hee Lightning your Mom's definitely got your number Hardy Har Har
ReplyDeleteLovely flower basket she got for Mom's day! So pretty and cheery! :D
Waggin at ya,
Roo
Happy belated Mother's Day to your Mom. You have such a lovely garden. Poor Lightning, I could hear you crying all the way over here. At least you can sniff on them.
ReplyDelete{{{huggies}}}...Mona
Morning Lightning
ReplyDeletewhat a most beautiful hanging basket your Mom rec'd from the little people. Mom moves the yellow and purple. Good to know there will not be any plants in harms way this year.
I got into trouble on Saturday night.
There was a well wrapped apple pie on our bar...my peeps were outside on the porch eating theirs and did not give me any so I knocked the entire pie on to the floor. AND I sat right beside it until the peeps came in. I proudly owned up to the deed too. Luckily the the pie was only a tad disfigured.
MOL
Madi the Crusher
that is a lovely basket. And it is not only up high, it is inside the "no sibe" zone too.
ReplyDeleteWe think you had best leave it alone.
gussie n teka
One little nibble won't be noticed - we're ALMOST certain!
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling it went into the Plant Protection Program! I can't believe The Momster doesn't trust you with her flowers, Lightning!
ReplyDeleteBunny
Hey Lightning!
ReplyDeleteWow, what pretty flowers! Mom wants to know if those are Million Bells. The colors are really pretty and would have gone well with your fur if only you'd been allowed to play with them. I don't understand that either. Sigh. Dirt was made for digging!
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, COP
Did woo hear my Momster skhweeeee at the kholours on your new template and header?
ReplyDeleteOH MY!
Nice job Lightning ;-)
Hugz&Khysses,
Khyra
I just don't get why humans have those things around and then yell at us not to eat them. Do we put a salad bar in their house and then yell at them not to eat?!
ReplyDeleteLIfe is just full of temptations, isn't it, Lightning?
ReplyDeleteWoofs,
Tommy
I do NOT understand this. WHY would SHE NOT want you to "Tend" to her beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteSo unfair!!!
I love the new blog look!!
Humans just don't get us, do they Lightning?!?!
ReplyDeleteThe little grand bipeds sure know how to pick out a beautiful Mother's Day gift!
Stewey
You should stand guard to make sure no other animals get it either. That would be completely unjust.
ReplyDeleteNora
They are beautiful! Take good care of them....
ReplyDeleteYou really do look like you're crying, "Waaah!" in that last picture, bol!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog background. You always find the best backgrounds.
I hope you can join in my annual Doggone Dog Swap this year!
Lightning, you listen to your Mom and not to Ciara. Your sis thinks she's a master gardener, but her technique needs some work.
ReplyDeleteMorgan and the Porties
Dude! I'd milk that one for a cookie for sure!
ReplyDeleteThe plater is just beautiful. I am kinda glad that your mum is keeping it high up becaause its too lovely to be nibbled... HUgs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteHey there, So glad you listened to your mom and left the plant alone, just daydreamed about it!!! Even though it is beautiful, it could always upset your tummy-plus your mom. The littles were very thoughtful to bring it to her. Now you can all enjoy it, up high and safe.
ReplyDeleteHigh Paws to you today.
Noreen & Hunter
Maybe you can make some kind of deal with the squirrels and bunnies - like they get in the pot and pass you down some goodies?
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
Happy belated Mother's Day :-)
ReplyDeleteIt all depends how deep that pot is, not that it is high... if I had been you, you should have taken your chance and put your paws RIGHT IN TO START WITH... looks good diggin soil.....
Luvs Freya Rose Blossom X
BOL! Lightning, we think you are going to have a lot of fun this summer! We just hope you don't get caught! :)
ReplyDeleteYou'll just have to enjoy the pretty basket of flowers from the other side of the fence, Lightning!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
Your flowers are lovely! I've given up on gardening....
ReplyDeleteI wonder why she put it out of your reach!!!
ReplyDeleteKisses and hugs
Lorenza
Poor Lightning! Love the new header
ReplyDeleteDachshund Nola
Oh Lightning, It is a beautiful plant and we love whre it is sitting in the last pictures. Ciara is wise in telling you not to play with it.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so much better in the yard.
What a beautiful hanging basket! I am trying to figure out what type of flowers they are but I can't! Uggh, stupid green thumb is not working again!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!
It sure does look yummy
ReplyDeleteStop on by for a visit

The little bipeds were very clever to think of HANGING flowers! We bet momster loves their splash of color in the No Sibe Zone!
ReplyDeleteOh I hope you find something to play with that is not your mommas plants!
ReplyDeletelove
tweedles
Your blog looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLightning, that does look quite delicious. I admire your self control. I am sorry you can't have it, but maybe Mommy is making some of those yummy homemade treats again.
Loveys Sasha
I bet that was torture for you, Lightning. You can look, but don't touch! Not even a little nibble!
ReplyDeleteHope your mommie had a Happy Mother's Day. Lovely flowers you got for her, way to go!!
ReplyDeleteOh lightning,
ReplyDeleteyou're beautiful like those beautiful flowers :)
I hope you and your dear mommie had a great mother's day!
Woof, woof,
Chicco
P.S. I loved the new header photo!
Hi Lightning, that is a beautiful pot but it looks better hanging up. Too much temptation isn't it mate. Mum hasn't got many pots with plants left thanks to us, woops! No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
ReplyDeleteWell, that certainly presents a challenge. I suspect that if you think about it long enough that you will figure something out. Just remember to wipe your nose off before going inside. You can use Ciara for that. Nobody will ever suspect the little princess of messing with the plants.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
I just dropped by to say Happy Tuesday ^^.
ReplyDeleteHuggies and Cheese,
Haopee
Well, that IS NO FUN! Where is a dog to dig if there are no planters? I'm sure you will all come up with a plan :D
ReplyDeleteWyatt and Stanzie
That there is some serious flower high security! very pretty though :)
ReplyDeleteSlobbers
Trust me on this one buddy, that might be a little more fiber than you can handle :)
ReplyDeleteKitty+Coco
Very tempting..but perhaps better just look!
ReplyDeleteBig Nose Pokes
The Thugletsx
