Steamy, scorching, sunny Sunday

Ahhh, we found the one patch of shade in our yard so we could wish you all a Happy Sunday, hot as it may be.

If these are the Dog Days of Summer, these dogs want to trade them in for some snow.  We all headed right back inside to our cool air as soon as the flashy beast was done.

We are also sending good sibe vibes out to all those who are without power due to the nasty derecho that hit so many so hard. Crazy storm, Mother Nature is out of control.

  5. Another fabulous photo of your four! I'm glad that there's a patch of shade. It's hot way up here at more than 8000' so I can only imagine how hot it is where you are. Mother Nature is, indeed, out of control. I have an idea why...

  11. If I didn't know any better I'd think Phantom isn't minding the heat quite as much as the others. He is the only one without his tongue sticking out. Great portrait as usual.

  24. Yeah, what is UP with the weather lately? I think somebody made Mother Nature mad. Did somebody make a mess in her house or bark all night? That's what usually makes my mom mad, so I'm sure it makes Mom Nature mad too.

  28. I am glad you found a shady spot for a little while. It is hot here also in Michigan. I get to stay inside with Mommy in the cool air. I know you all hang out inside also, but would probably rather be outside running and playing.

  29. You know, my boys never seem to mind the heat. I don't know how they can stand it. Chico especially loves it. I worry about him if he's out there for very long because he's a black dog and I know that's got to be really hot.

I hope everyone get's their electricity back soon. The summer is definitely NOT the ideal time to lose it.

  34. It is indeed very cold today. I even have the sniffles. Peanuts and Chooey are enjoying their days because they can play all day and not feel hot. We have a tropical typhoon which brings the cold weather and the rain.

We are sending a piece of our cold air to your pretty garden.

    Huggies and Cheese,
