Destuffing Day

Help, I can't bear to look!

Don't get smug, Big Guy - your turn is coming too.

Are you done yet?  I really didn't have much to give up today.

Here, birdies - you might want this for your nests.

Hey Mom, will the recyclers let you bag leaves with furs???

I finally escaped that crazy rake.  I thought rakes were for leaves, not furs.

These leaves make a comfy bed for a sun pose.

We are staying right here at the top of the stairs so SHE can't put that brush to us.

Whose snooter is that?

We bet you guessed right - Phantom!

You can take my pic, Mom, but don't come near me with that eye ointment.

OK, Mom. Can you please split Phantom's treat into threes? He doesn't want anything today.

Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

  6. Well, I finally convinced Mrs. Master to get one of those robot vacuums so she doesn't attack me anymore with the rake. I hate that thing more than anything!

  16. My Mom says I shed all year long and never run out of furs. She sees furs everywhere I walk, but when she goes to brush out more, none comes. Its a puzzlement is what it is.

Good luck with the treat scam you guys, you will be lucky to get a little piece maybe, or maybe Phantom will decide he wants the whole thing and you characters are out of luck . . .ha, ha

    Your pal,
    Stella

  19. We thinks Phantom's treats should be saved for when Phantom does want them.

We agree about being brushed. Why do the humans keep trying to steal our furs?

  24. You should save all those furs and stuff 'em into a pillow. That would make a really nice bed.

  28. I see that the older and wiser dogs kept their distance from the "rake"! I always love seeing Phantom, and I adored seeing him lying in the sun.

Labs don't shed quite so much, thank goodness!

  29. All that beautiful floofy, I bet it will make a soft bed for somebody. Mommy had a friend with a beautiful Sibe and she remembers the comb outs and all the floof in the breeze. I hope Phantom is feeling better with his booboo eye.

  35. Oh dear, I know how you guys feel. I have that raking everyday!!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Oh noes, did you get attacked by the furminator? The best part about having lovely short boxer furs is that I don't have to get brushed that much!

    ReplyDelete
  37. You three are conniving doggies, trying to leave Phantom out of the snacks. Love all the pictures, especially Phantom's snoot. Poor Ciara, getting all brushed but you do look pretty now. Have a great day.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Oh, no!! They took your furs!! Our little Alpha is crazy - she tries to eat her fur after we brush it off.

Those leaves are pretty comfy! Glad you are all enjoying fall :)

  45. Destuffing sure is tiring. Our birds are fond of floof as well. I imagine it makes for a very cozy nest.
