PARK DAY WITH THE WOOS

Today we are taking part in Finn and Charley and  Gizmo's Park Day.  We don't live close enough to a park to walk there, so we decided to show you the trail near our home.  We used to walk here all the time, but Mom says there are too many bikers with no manners, and joggers who run with their dogs off leash.  Oh well, she was nice enough to take us there today so we could be a part of the fun.

We do our walks two at a time - that way we are sure Mom is getting plenty of exercise.  If we do our regular daily walk, between the four of us we get her to clock about 3.4 miles.  And sometimes we do it twice a day.

Phantom and Ciara got to walk first.

Look, Phantom.  Those sticks would be just great for Goose.

Hmmm, some other furry has been here just a few minutes ago.

I wonder if it was a bunny and he escaped over to those woods.

Checking out some more sniffs before crossing the Trippy Trap Bridge.

Trying to give Mom the obligatory posed shot.

Which way should we go now?

Oh, that darn string - I could have so much more fun if I were free!

Mom says this is the closest we can get to the creek down there.

Nope, not looking at you, Mom - you didn't bring any treats.

I will pose for you Mom, I KNOW you will reward me well when we get home.

That creek looks pretty yucky to me.

And now on to the second part of our day on the trail with Lightning and Thunder.

Careful, Thunder, you never know what lurks down there.

Oh well, if you think there is a rabbit down there, I guess I can get closer.

Wait a minute - I heard a very strange noise!  Alert!!!

Checking out the same post as Ciara did.  But WHERE is Lightning?

Way over here - you don't think I am going anywhere near that post - it is NEW to me and scary!

No way, Mom, don't make me go there.

That's silly, Lightning. You can read all the local dog news right here.

Thunder, let's go - I want to see what is on the other side of the bridge.

Well, maybe I really don't want to go there - let's turn around.

Sheesh, that Lightning really can be such a silly boy.

Alert!  Alert!  Biker approaching - gotta get way back!

See, I told you we had to stay back, bikes are scary!

OK, let's try going over the bridge again.

Nope, not looking at you, Mom - no treats, no looks:)

Two happy boys wishing they could go down that path to the creek.

We hope you enjoyed seeing some of the sights along the trail.  The four of us are all very happy to be home - WHY???? You guessed it - Mom has TREATS!!!

Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

  7. It's always great to get a chance to walk around the neighbourhood and being OUTSIDE of the house too. You guys seem to have a perfect outing EXCEPT the fact that your mom didn't bring your treats with her. I think she should remember TREATS make things work if she wants to get better pictures of you guys next time.
