THUNDER
April 28, 2006 - July 1, 2013
Run free, my very special boy. And wear that silver harness proudly! We all love you and wish you didn't have to leave us so soon. Our hearts are broken and the tears keep coming, but we will never forget you.
We will present a celebration of the life of Thunder Dunder at another time. Please go hug your pets and tell them you love them.

Kathie, I'm so sorry to hear this. I know we haven't been around much the past couple of years but we think of you guys often. I will certainly be keeping you guys in my prayers. I know Twix was there to welcome your sweet boy as he arrived at the Bridge. I also know she was very excited to meet him and show him around in his beautiful new home.
ReplyDeleteSending loads of hugs and love,

I am so deep sorry for your loss. Thunder was a special boy. I lost my Lad, to cancer, at the age of 7. He was born in April too. we tried so desperately to save him, and kept him with us probably longer than we should have. But it's so hard to lose a beloved furkid, especially when they are still relatively young. I wish I had words to help ease your pain. Unfortunately, only time will do that. Thunder meant so much to so many, he will be greatly missed.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I'm late on commenting, I haven't been online much the last week.
ReplyDeleteOk, this will be third time trying to comment. I'm having computer issues.
ReplyDeleteI'm so very sorry for your loss. Losing a beloved dog is devastating. But losing a relatively young dog, when you thought you still had years before you would have to say goodbye, can just wreck you. I went through this same thing with my Lad, who we lost at 7 years old to cancer. Lad was my special boy, and it took a long time to make it through a day without tears. I wish there was something I could say to ease you pain, but only time will help. Thunder was loved by all your blogging friends, and will be greatly missed by all of us. It is so unfair that this happened to him. I'm sorry.
Oh my dog!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh no, I can't believe I missed this. It's so sad that Thunder is gone now, but at least he is put out of his pain. I loved reading all of his stories and adventures, and it is overwhelmingly sad now to think that he is gone.
Thinking of you all,
Pippa :)
My husky friends I am so sorry that I am so far behind in blogging that I was not around to support and share my sympathies at the time of Thunder's sickness and passing. He will be greatly missed. I am glad he got to train his baby brother Lighting to carry on with the Woos.
