Wacky Wednesday at the Woos

It has begun - do our eyes tell you how unhappy we all are?

Add caption

Our soft white carpet is gone.  There is only a sofa, table, and TV in this room, and no furniture anywhere else on the first floor.  At least our crates and beds are still here, although Mom says not for long.  There are no countertops, no sinks, no cooktop - yikes!!!  The painters start prepping tomorrow through Saturday.  New countertops hopefully on Friday.  We get to stay here until Monday, but then the actual painting begins.  The painters say we can't be here then.  Even Mom and Dad have to go somewhere else to stay.

Who needs a kitchen table anyway?

We probably won't be posting much, and we are so sorry we haven't been commenting much.  Mom is pretty stressed out with all that is going on.  And she tells us this is just the beginning - could take a month to complete:(  There is lots more to be done, new tile backsplash, newly sanded and stained floors, new bathroom floor, and new carpets - yep, another white-ish one.  We did hear Mom tell Dad she is ready to call the whole thing off already and we are only two days into it.

Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning

P.S. - for those of you worried about Phantom, he is probably going to stay with Mom and Dad wherever they end up when they can't be at home.

  19. Glad Phantom will get to stay with your parents. We are in the midst of having new siding put on our house, the cats are hiding, Fenris is barking at everyone and Tui just sleeps through it all.

Hope your house is put back together soon, we know your Mom will love it once it is and we bet you will too.

  23. I don't worry about Phantom because he lives with his Mom and Dad who loves him a whole bunch. They will take good care of him. The other two kids can go to nursery school maybe. Mom will come and visit them, I am sure.
We would too, if we could.

    Good luck everybuddy,

  26. Oh man, having a house remodel go on is always stressful for dogs and humans alike! (And yep, 2 days into it is about the time I would be saying, "Oh, let's just forget the whole thing and call it off," as well!).

Hope it goes quicker than expected and that there aren't many (well, ANY would be nice) hitches. You poor pups look so sad!

  27. Paws crossed for a smooth reno! I had fun when we did our house last year, but we did the whole thing ourselves so we didn't have to go anywhere.

  28. That's a massive re-do, but I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end. The Woos will not be happy, but I know Phantom will love being with Mom and Dad.

  29. Hang in there, my friends. It will be worth it. And, I am so relieved about Phantom.

I've just realized the tough part of having a dog who can't stay with anyone else (in my case, that's Shyla - she'd dissolve into a puddle). My Dad is having health issues, and there's no way for both me and my husband to go visit him at the same time.

I'm so glad that Phantom will be with the Momster and the Dad!

Been way behind in my reading and am trying desperately to catch up with everyone! My Humans lives have been a whirlwind of activity, leaving very little time for me to use the computer.

Will life ever be back to normal?
