Being Thankful and Thoughtful

Phantom wants to thank all of you for the fantastic birthday wishes he received.  You are all so nice to celebrate with him.

Well, he told Mom to say thank you, he is having a sleep-in sort of day today.

Meanwhile, another of us decided he really wanted to be helpful and thoughtful - all for Mom!!!

C'mon, Mom - it's that time again - time for those exercises.  I am here to help you so it won't be so bad for you.

I am right here to check the angle of that leg bend and stretch.

OK.  Now let's try the leg lifts.  I am here to be sure you keep that back flat.  No arching now.

Maybe this IS hard work.  Let's just take a little break, Mom, and maybe I will use your tummy for my pillow.

OK, let's go, good power nap, now back at it.  Let's do those thingies using the rubber bands.  I think you have moved up to the blue ones now.  Last week was green.  Guess we must be doing something right.

I think your therapist will be happy with your progress today.  Now how about a reward for my thoughtful help?

I will even give you a cute pose:)

  5. I have to lock myself in the bedroom to do exercises. I have all ten trying to sit on me and help. That gives a new meaning to weight lifting.

  6. That must be comfy for Phantom to lie in that carrier with his back up against the side of it. Our dog Jasmine who has now gone to the bridge, really liked to lie flat up against the wall.
Glad you all are such a big help to the Mom with her exercises. We are sure it helps her a lot.Take care.

  10. I can see that Phantom is recovering from all that partying! I can also see that some sweet person put a towel under his head to make it like a soft pillow. How sweet!

Way to go Lightning! You're really stepping up, big boy! I have a trainer who's a lot like, except that he's jet black. Do you and R exchange notes on how to coach your humans when they do their back exercises? I hope so. I'm so happy to see you being helpful.
