Woeful Wednesday

It was with great sadness that we learned today about the passing of our friend Ginger Jasper.  He and his Mum have been our very good friends for a long time.  GJ has fought so long and so hard to give his Mum and Dad more time with him.  We are so sorry for Carol and Barrie, but we know that Ginger Jasper is now in a beautiful place free of pain and illness.

Soft woos and gentle hugs to our wonderful friends across the pond.

Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning

PeeEss - we have not been very good bloggers lately. We have been trying to keep up with reading, but we have only been able to leave a very few comments.  This week has been especially difficult for Mom.  The work is almost done, but every day brings new delays.  Her back has really been acting up, and just when she needs to be able to start getting the house back in order.  Only about one more week of work from the workers, mostly smaller items now.  Phantom has been feeling more comfortable - we think the deramaxx and adequan injections are starting to work.  But he has lost an incredible amount of weight despite the fact that he is eating fairly well, considering how poorly he normally eats.   He does not have any extra weight to be losing.   Always something to worry about:(

So so sorry to hear about Ginger.
We understand about the blogging thing. MOM and I are trying to keep up on reading. From now through December it is very hard for my MOM to stay caught up with it all.

Hi OP Pack, sorry to hear of the loss of your friend.
Also my comment on your last post about Phantom doesn't seem to have posted.... anyway, I'm sorry to hear Phantom has lost weight, it is frustrating if he is eating reasonably well! Hopefully it's nothing, Coke lost some weight for no apparent reason earlier this year despite eating very very well, but after a while for reasons as unknown he put the weight back on again and all was fine again, I hope it's the same with dear Phantom!
Also Coke sends some wheeks to the Momster - sorry her back is acting up!
Best wishes,
Melon and Cocoa

Such sadness in blogville lately...

I hope your back eases up and lets you do what needs to be done. I'm so happy to hear that Phantom seems to feel better, but I wish that he wouldn't lose weight. What a sweet sweet boy.

Take care of yourselves. I love your header, although I'm sure it was painful to change it. I haven't yet had that courage... and it's been much longer than for you.

We were quite sad about GJ too....but it does make me happy that he's now pain free and healthy over the Bridge. I hate it when my friends are having difficult times. Hopefully Phantom is on the road to being better too - maybe after things have settled down with the work in the house he'll relax, gain back some weight and continue eating well. As for all of us - we'll be here....we're not going anywhere so don't worry about blogging....!!

We're sorry to hear about your friend. We know he's in good company at the bridge.

We're very glad to hear that Phantom is feeling more secure now that the house is back together again. Mom knows just how worried you are about his weight. She's been thru that too many times.

Sending big hugs to all of you. Please tell your mom to remember to ice her back. It is difficult when you want to be able to work and then every little thing hurts. So sorry about Ginger Jasper; it always makes our hearts sad when a family looses a furbaby.
