One of these things is not like the others! (And this is true in so many ways, but just one in particular today)
Can you guess which one AND why?
Uh, that would be ME!!! Can you tell why?
No, it wasn't anything with my tail, although Mom says it is now looking very thin and wispy.
Can you believe it???? I had to go to the SPA for the morning yesterday.
Striking a pose for you so you can see my clean furs.
Here's a better look at my tail - I am losing all my fluffy plumage:(
But Mom has been having a hard time keeping me well-groomed because all the regular brushes hurt me since I have no fat anywhere to soften the touch of the bristles. Mom uses the Zoom Groom but it really isn't very effective on my double-coated furs.
The groomer lady handled me with lots of TLC, and the vet even came in to remind her that she couldn't use the brush anywhere near my tail lumps. He also didn't want her to put too much heat on that area with the blow dryer. We can't risk having that lump burst. I must say she did a great job and was very kind to me.
When I got home, Ciara and Lightning were very curious about where I had been and they both sniffed me all over. Ciara even gave me a kiss:) Now I am waiting for Mom to pony up with all those tasty treats she promised me.
We were so happy to see Phantom come home, but we weren't too happy to hear what he had to endure.
We sure are hoping the Momster doesn't have any crazy notions of taking us to the spa anytime soon.
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Update from Mom: I had this post all set to post late morning today. I was out at the store when I got a call from the Dadster to tell me that unfortunately Ciara had another visit from the Seizure Monster. March 4th was her deadline date for remaining in the study. It was about the same in duration and intensity as the first four. We were so hoping she was going to miss that deadline. We are now waiting to hear from the neurologist about what the next step will be.
