A Sleety Sunday with a Hint of Snow

We waited and waited and waited for the snow to come, but by early morning all we got was about two inches of sleet - not so much fun to race through.

SomePup spent lots of time waiting, and finally by about noon, a big snow shower arrived.

BIG???  It barely covers my paws.

Here is how I like to get my Easy On Sunday going.

Lightning must be watching for more snow to come.

There has to be more on the way - that weather guy said 6-10 inches - how could he be THAT far off???

Don't look now, Ciara, but I think Mom has busted you chewing on that landscape edging.

Oops!

Wistful dreaming of my younger days when I could run and romp and roll through the snow.

What do you mean I can't go out in the cold, Mom?  I AM a Siberian even if it is close to ZERO degrees out there.

Guess I will just take a nap by the door so I can slip out the next time it opens.

SUCCESS!!!

Watch out, Lightning - here comes Ciara!!!

No sign of Spring in our yard!

Boys on alert!

Hello, anybody in there???  I hate to admit it, but Mom was right.

Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning

  9. Dear boys and girl,
I'm so happy for you, that you have snow at last! We had this year only two or three days with a little bit of it and it has been a very strange and warm winter over here! I love snow like a Siberian Husky does and so I enjoy your beautiful pics!

PS:Dear Phantom, you are so right, that you go outside! It doesn't matter if you stayed only a little bit there: the most important thing is that you had fun there!

  22. Mommy got cold just looking at all that white stuff. We know you guys love it but thank goodness it doesn't snow in our part of Texas. It'[s below 30 here today and that's plenty cold enough for us.

    Stay warm at least.

  34. Ciara and Lightning you two were having a fine time traipsing about in the itty bitty snow storm.

Phantom...I think you might just sit by the door the young'uns can bring the snow to you.
Lots of hugs madi your bfff

  35. Phantom, our Chloe is right there with you...in theory, she wants to be outside, but once she is, our tropical Husky can't wait to be back in! And we'd take snow over sleet any day, too! It's been quite a winter! Our rehabbing Sibes have had enough since they can't go out and play, they just rather spring came so they can at least be out on the deck. Here's to either fluffy snow or nicer weather! (But then doesn't that mean m-u-d??!)

  36. Sibes and snow...nice combination...and smart move on Phantom's part. Purring that Ciara's vet visits will give a path for treatment and that Phantom is comfortable in his senior years...paw hugs, Savvy
