Friday's Find

I am not doing anything wrong, Mom.  I FOUND something down here.  I think it might be that elusive Easter Bunny.

I know I saw something in there.   I think my pal Ruby is right - she said it had to be the rabbits that stole Mom's spikey things from her pots.

I think the rabbits dug a hole and stole some of my furs to use in that hole.  I can see some white fuzzy stuff in that hole

I can't see you, but I can hear you.

I don't care about the treats in your hand, Mom. And no, I am not interested in going for a walk or getting a car ride.  I have to stay focused.

Maybe if I close my eyes really tight and make a wish, I will see it again.

See, can't you hear them?  OMD, there are squeakers in there.

I think there are baby bunnies in there, Mom.

The Momster:  NOW WHAT DO WE DO?

Woos, Lightning and Mom

  1. We think Lightning is going to be sitting in that spot for a long time. Perhaps it's time for the NoSibe fence....

  7. You have Baby Bunnies??? They are sooooooo cute. I (Frankie Furter) loved taking care of the bunnies that were born in MY garden... two years in a row..
Butt then they grew up and ran away and would not be my furends.
Enjoy watching them... while you can. They will be gone before you know it.

  11. Well good job Lightning finding those baby bunnies. I guess just let the bunnies grow up and hop away when the dogs are in the house. Probably need to figure out a way to keep Lightning away from them. Good luck to you. That is a hard one. Wonder if a wildlife person would come and take the bunnies somewhere. Bet they are cute.

  15. I agree with you, no treats and no walks can be better than a rabbit hole in your yard. Be careful, hope it isn't the same rabbit hole what led Alice to the wonderland. Have a good friday, hope you will find a way to solve the problem.

  28. We had mice build a nest in our grill over the winter. Despite the fact that the hu-dad removed the mice weeks ago, Typhoon sits for hours and stares at the base of the grill for a mouse to return.

Shrug - at least he is occupied doing that.

  32. I TOLD you the puppehs didn't do it!!!

ok... IF you think the really did do it... some kinda icky advice: Put their poop in the plants for a few weeks. ("Refresh" with fresh poop occasionally!) That's usually long enough to train them that the potted plants are not for them. It worked for my Maggie.

Sorry if I grossed you out!

  33. oh baby bunnies are so cute, I hope your mom can find a way to help the little guys. Seems like moms and pups don't always agree on baby bunnies (that's our moms experience)
