SomePup LOVES to be out in the cold and snow. And we have BOTH!!! Now we don't have the masses of snow that the Northeast has, but at this point we will gladly accept the 3-4 inches we got overnight.
No, I am not ready to come back inside - I am waiting for my boxer pals to come out too.
Hey, Mom - why don't you come out with me while I am waiting? It isn't THAT cold!!!
A quick look to the right to see what that noise is up the hill.
And then to the left to check out the neighbor shoveling in his driveway.
I see you there, Mom - can you please tell Ciara to come out too? I need someone to run around with me.
Ciara also loves the snow but seems to be nursing a sore leg - a wee bit too much zoom-zoom-zooming last night in anticipation of the storm.
Sniff, sniff - I think that weather guy might be right - a little more is coming in overnight, I am sure of it.
Hi Mom, I am doing just fine out here. I am quite content to rest in this snow pile on the deck.
No, I don't want you to shovel the snow off the deck, it feels great on my tummy.
One patrol of the perimeter of the yard was all this old boy needed - too cold for him.
Sorry we don't have more pics of us having fun in the snow - trust US, Ciara and Lightning - we had a blast. But the little bipeds (who aren't so little anymore) are here today and tomorrow. So the Momster is pretty busy.
We want to leave you with this one photo that shows you how amazing our little Sweet Pea is with her dancing feet!
No photos or videos are allowed at the competitions but the other girl's Dad managed to sneak this one in and sent it to little C's Mom. We blurred the other girl's face since we didn't ask her family if it was OK to post this. Look at the form on that Sweet Pea!!! We don't have any other pics to share, but both C and her older sister K did phenomenally well at the competition in all of their group dances, coming home with very high scores and a few trophies for the team. Little C also had a solo - a lyrical dance for which she took first place in her division. Mom said the only way to describe her was that she looked just like an angel up there. We are so proud of both of our sweet girls.
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
you lucky pups = we only got lots and lots of sleet which isn't as nice as snow but we too have been loving being outside crunching around in it. Well done Sweet Pea - she looks totally awesome - you must be so proud

ReplyDeleteGlad you've had fun zooming around in the snow. Too bad the other two are pikers, but at least you can roll in it by yourself.
We think it might be too cold for the boxers...they don't have thick furs.

ReplyDeleteOMD!!!! Lookie at C!!! OMD!!! She is AMAZIN'!!! Ma's jaw dropped open when she saw her form!! (Ma USED TO jazz dance WAY back when, so she knows her form, and C's GOT IT! FABulous!!
ReplyDeleteNows, about those snow zoomies...I would have gotten in my transport tunnel and joined you guys!!!! OMD, that sounds like tons of funs! Well, minus the sore leggies...
You guys heal up fast, so you can do some more zoomies when the fresh stuff comes!
Oh, Lightning, say hello to that Boxer pal for me! ☺
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
So much news! I'm so happy you got some snow, and I hope that Ciara feels better very soon. You may be waiting a long time for the boxers - they don't have the fur to lie in the snow like you Sibes do!
ReplyDeleteSweet Pea looks like an incredible dancer. My goodness - what flexibility and grace! I can see why you all are so proud of her.
Concats on your snow, sweet woofies! You've waited a long time for some of the white stuff. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGreat pic of the little one dancing.
Gorgeous!
You got snow!!! Congratulations and enjoy it while you can. Ciara, I think laying in the snow is good therapy for a sore legger. Phantom, I am kind of with you, my paws get really cold so I pretty much stay in and keep Mommy warm.

Sorry for the double comment my hooman thumbs are no good!
ReplyDeleteI am SO glad you got snow, you snow-lovin' pups - it gives you so much joy you deserve it! I have never personally seen a husky in snow but since I know you go out whenever there is snow I can imagine how much you adore it. Nice to see SomePup, I feel like we see him less lately - or maybe I just don't pay attention!
Also is that dancer really your grandbiped? WOW! What lucky Woos you are. Although I think the bipeds are lucky to have such a wonderful grandmomster! She's obviously very loving and supportive.
Oh, and hope Ciara's zoom-ing wasn't anxiety about the storm. Hope everyone is well tomorrow :)
We will gladly share some of our snow with you!! We have over four feet in the driveway!! It has been so cold, it took my husband three separate trips to do it...it was minus 25 last night!
ReplyDeleteYour granddaughter looks FANTASTIC at dance!! I miss those days! Glad that your pups got some snow to play in!

ReplyDeleteWe did not know little humans could leap so high, wonderful.
What a shame now that it is not allowed any photos of children in plays or anything.
