Monday Mischief

Mom said that Dad and I were both mischievous Thursday night.  She said that Dad gave me some of his ravioli dinner when he KNOWS he is not supposed to do that.

BUT she was in the garage when he delighted me with a taste of that yummy pasta and sauce.  HOW did Mom know???

What????  Is there something wrong with my snooter?

Ciara wanted to tell everyone that she was feeling so much more relaxed yesterday afternoon:)  Her bed cover was in the wash after it got wet during her seizure early Saturday morning.  She seems to prefer her bare bed:)  Now Lightning wants to know why it is not considered mischief when she wets her bed, but he gets in trouble when he decides to water the edge of the cabinet door???

UPDATE:  Mom was outside with us late yesterday afternoon when in the distance Ciara heard two pops.  She scratched at the door to get back inside.  Then Mom tried to take us for a walk after dinner, and the fireworks were back. Ciara heard three pops and that was it for her. She pulled all the way back to the garage door to get back into her safe zone:(  Guess it will be a while longer before serenity returns:(

  2. OH poor Ciara, those dog gone fireworks. Sure hope it all calms down soon. And Lightning, you know better than to water things inside. They don't need watering. You all have a great week.

  5. Lightning you look so cute with that sauce on your nose, you need a snooter guard for forbidden foodables! Hee,Hee! Also couldn't you just blame your little cabinet watering on your Sister? Naughty I know!!! I'm sorry to hear that she had another seizure, I hope that she is feeling better soon! I hate fireworks too, I think its so scary when they bang in the sky, Mum has tried everything to try and calm me down but I just run around barking at them! 7. BOL! One of the blessings of being a black dog is that the tomato sauce doesn't show up on my fur! You look too cute with that tomato spot!

  8. we had fireworks going off last night again too - why can't someone invent a 'quiet firework' that way we could enjoy to pretty lights but not have to deal with the noise

  10. Lucky you, Lightning! Our peeps are very stingy when it comes to sharing their raviolis with us.
We hope the fireworks lovers have had enough of setting them off, Ciara. Enough is enough!

    Love ya lots♥

  20. I have grown to hate fireworks when they are near us. Hunter is the first dog that, in years past, didn't react to them. However, this year they startled him and he seemed so uncertain. I've got to read about the seizure now-just seem to have a hard time staying caught up with all of my close buddies-you!

  21. Oh no, Ciara. I'm so sorry you had a seizure. I wish that the world would be serene just for you. Our friends' dog who has seizures sometimes during thunder hid in our basement... but his Keppra worked and he didn't have a seizure. Most of our noise was thunder and not fireworks.

I am rooting for serenity! And for ravioli for all pups!

  25. Though we don't celebrate 4th July , we have Ramadan month with us and our Muslim friends have already started their fireworks fun; . Ugh!!! I hate fireworks and Mika is so scared of those pops. The fireworks will come to full scale next week as they are celebrating their new year on Friday next week; the celebration lasts for a month. :(

Glad to hear that Ciara feels much relaxed now.

  26. Lightening! Woo scored. If woo lived here MWD would spoil woo rotten. Even though 2nd dinner is the norm in our house, I always tell him 1 or 2 tablespoons at MOST. But MWD takes advantage of my illness (I don't want to get up if I've cooked, too tired) so he'll give them a HUGE plateful of 2nd dinner when the 2nd dinner Police aren't around to monitor portion! So now I have to cut back on 1st dinner so they don't get fat.

sigh. But boy Lightening, every pup should get a ravioli or two now and then! Do they KNOW how hard it is to look as good as woo? It's a lot of work. It should be rewarded.

  27. Fireworks can be really scary!!! But you're a big boy, and hey, that ravioli was all about experiencing things! Not to get hooked on, but you had a taste so that should satisfy your buds?
