I spy with my blue and brown eyes something fun up there!
Wonder if it is for us?
Maybe I can take a little nibble.
Or maybe a bigger bite:)
I wouldn't do that, Lightning. Don't look now but some Momster is watching.
SHE says it is just a photo prop - and not for destructive jaws of steel.
So what do we do NOW, Ciara?
Just pose nicely, Lightning, and maybe we can at least get some tasty rewards for putting up with this tease of a Mom.
Woos - Ciara and Lightning
Note from the mean Momster: This was Thunder's favorite toy. He would carry a bird around in his mouth all the while trying to woo a big song without dropping the bird. He never destroyed his birdies, but let me assure you that the birdies and their house will be in shreds in five minutes if I let these two have their way.
What a GREAT toy!!!! And pawfect posing there you two, you looks COMPLETELY innocent to me!

Y'all should always get bonus treats for being cute!
ReplyDeleteIt is for sure a beautiful toy. Thunder was one of those pups who could carry a balloon w/o popping it. A gentle soul for sure.
ReplyDeleteHugs Madi your bfff
Oh, what a darling little toy! The toys never got wrecked in our house until Elliot came along.

ps, I use Prismacolor Premier pencils for my colouring book but I have seen some great Youtube videos where they are using Derwent Inktense with a very small amount of water in a waterbrush (which I'm quite scared of doing in case the pages warp) but thinking of having a go with them as they look fantastic!
it is a toy worth keep away from the jaws of doom
ReplyDeleteWe adore those puzzle friends. Get the birds out!
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
Ph Ciara and Lightning, that was Thunder's toy so don't destroy it. It brings back great memories of Thunder. Sounds like he was such a good dog. That is a good looking toy.
ReplyDeleteWe have some special toys like that around here, too. We even have a ducky that was great-brother Booter's!!!
ReplyDeleteMaggie must NEVER, ever see those ones!
Cammie!
Sounds like a very special toy and very cute and fun, too!
ReplyDeleteYou must respect the family heirloom. Maybe Mommy can get you one that you can rip apart
ReplyDeleteHi - I just read your comment with the food question. Yes, you do need to reduce the dry food a bit when adding the Raw Boost Mixers. We tend to give Ruby just a topper (maybe 10 little mixers) added into her dry food. We also give them as treats and rewards. She likes them very much. They do come in little sample bags ($1.99 at Petsmart) if you want to try them and see if they like them.
ReplyDeleteWe thought it was a hybrid tortoise at first. BOL! Bet you see Thunder carrying that every time you look at it!
ReplyDeleteWe love the birdies! Thunder was a sweetie for not destroying the birdies so now you can have it to remember him. Hugs to you.
ReplyDeleteMoms always put away toys and stuffies that belonged to our angel brothers and sissies. They've very special and have to be treated with love and respect. You guys deserve lots of treats for being extra good!
ReplyDeleteI can just picture Thunder carrying around the little bird in his mouth!
ReplyDeleteSince it is a Beloved Family TREASURE.... we will FURGIVE your Momster fur NOT allowing WOO TWO to have your Way with those Birdies... BUTT it is TOUGH.
ReplyDeleteWe can understand why your mom doesn't want you two to play with that memento from Thunder. We do hope you got treats for your posing.
ReplyDeleteOMD, I gots a toy(s) kinda like that! I had a squirrel log, a bee hive, a bunny den, a squirrel log and a squirrel log...I killed all the squeakies in the tree rats and the bunnies and the bees, butts I still loves them! I can totally see why these are super duper special, since Thunder loved them.
ReplyDeleteI also thinks that you guys should gets like 87 TJ PB treaties for posing with it without destroying it! ☺
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
How cute it is!!!
ReplyDeleteI bet you will keep it safe,,, but I know you wanted them to see it!!
Its so sweet!

I'm happy to see Thunder's favorite toy in today's post! I'm glad his two younger siblings haven't had their way with it. I hope that they got awesome treats for their restraint. :)
ReplyDeleteYep, we understand that! Small stuffed things don't last long around here.
ReplyDeleteJust said RIP to a stuffed sheep and a possum today!

It is a great toy. It is funny how sometimes one of the dogs doesn't want a toy destroyed.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet to picture Thunder with the birds in his mouth, yes that treasured toy must be kept safe

Psst guys... I think you might be 'in the dog house' if you de-stuff that toy... And I would never be able to give that to my dog, watching the poor birdies get tortured! My bleeding-heart extends to stuffed animals too! Haha!
ReplyDeleteYep...Jakey would de-tweet these guys in no time!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!

Oh I would love such a toy.... the berds can hide in that house but I would get them all :o)
ReplyDeleteOur first reaction was that you guys should be allowed to play with that toy, but we reconsidered after reading your Mom's explanation. We can understand that she would want to preserve TD's favourite toy. Please bear with her!
ReplyDeleteWoofs,
Tommy
I keep the favorite toy of each of mine too. I do have a couple of destroyers, but mostly they just play nicely with their toys.
ReplyDeleteI too have a squeaky toy that I'm not allowed to play (read: destroy) with. It looks like a beautiful cocker spaniel with really fluffy fur. I've been eyeing it for years, but it never comes down from its lofty perch!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very special one!
ReplyDeleteMomo & Pinot xo
Mommy loves the Thunder Dunder story and the thought of him with the birdy in his mouth makes us very happy. Thank you for showing us that.
ReplyDeleteZiggy Out!!
That's a special toy so you should make sure you keep it and not shred it. We have special toys that belonged to our woofies too. They mean a lot to Mom.
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
Oh my, what a cool toy. Thunder Dundee was clearly very gentle with his fave toy. I am sure it would not last with Lightning...heh...heh
ReplyDeleteCutest toy EVER! We understand why it must be so precious! Chew softly!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute toy!
ReplyDeleteAnd yea, I know what you mean about tearing it up in seconds. My huskies would love to have their way with that toy too!
lol
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
So glad you got to see and smell the stuffie; I understand why Mom would put it away quickly though. When I garage sale in the spring, I always look for stuffed animals in good shape for Hunter. Stay warm and have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteAww, that's so sweet. Funny how we hang onto things isn't it? I saw an odd stick in the driveway and wondered why it was there... and just as quickly remembered it was Mabel's last stick at the creek. And a photo of her playing with it popped up on my screen. I felt like she was telling me to hang onto her stick!
