Monday Mischief

The wonders of "invisible" fence:)

Cash manages to escape every day. Last week he was running up and down the road as we were out walking.  Today he was in our garage trying to steal our kibble.  Here he is outside our fence and well away from his own property.
(Yes, his humans know but . . .)

He and Lightning are good buddies, but Lightning is jealous Cash can race all over the development.

Cash knows to to get some good "air"!

But Lightning can beat him in any fence race by a LOT!!!

These photos were all shot from inside as we are having some very strong winds today and very cold air. Mom is a wimp:)

  1. It's crazy-windy here, too! It's so cool - I was trying to chase every leaf that blew through our neighborhood on our morning walk! Awesome!
That scares me that Cash is out loose like that! Do his owners know he gets out of the "invisible" "fence"? Do they care? Sigh. So dangerous!!!

  3. It's nice to have friends to run the fence with...but we hope Cash's peeps learn how to keep him in his yard before something bad happens :-(

  11. Lets hope Cash doesn't find to much air one day and forgets his way home.

  12. Nothing wrong with staying inside to take pictures. Our Mom doesn't do cold either. That is too bad Cash's owners don't shut him up some way. I know Lightning is enjoying his company but he doesn't need to be running the neighborhood. I have the same situation with my neighbors but they have five dogs that are running loose. Go get him Lightning.

  13. I'm glad Lightning and Cash are friends or things could get real ugly!

Shame on Cash's owners for not being more responsible. I sure hope Cash doesn't pay the price!

  14. That Cash seems to be a bit of a show off. We say the closer you are to home the safer you are

  15. I'm sorry but I don't think your mom is a whimp! Of course, I'm timid when it comes to driving in the snow and ice. That's too bad about Cash running free; although we used to allow our dogs to do that in the 50's. Hope the wind moves east of you all.
    Hugs,

  16. We hope Cash remains safe, we hear so many stories about dogs stolen or hit by cars...

    Lightning looks beautiful running!

  18. That's scary that Cash is loose so much but at least Lightning entertains him and keeps him safe off the streets for awhile!

  19. we think that picture of lightening is just beautiful, we wish he would come over and play wif us, now about that cash, well send him our way and he can stay inside of alcatraz...mom said her stomach hurts seeing him run around like that...stellie rose

  20. Hmm, it sounds like you have one of "those" owners nearby. I think that invisible fences are pretty horrible... and so many dogs learn to leap through them, enduring one major zap (with a yelp usually) so that they can gallop all over the place for the day. It's so unsafe for the dog and frustrating for the neighbors.

But, Lightning sure looks great when he sprints! He's quite an athlete!

  21. Yikes, I hope Cash will be OK. Some families let their dogs run around our development as well. We don't have much through traffic on our circle, but we are right off a major road - ugh

  22. We're happy Lightning has a fence zoomie friend, but We think someone just might be incarcerated if a Ranger chances by.

  23. Such irresponsible owners!! Poor Cash ..... it's not his fault and he could get hurt. Looks like the wind doesn't worry you, Lightning or Cash either, aye??

  24. Sorry that Cash gets loose all the time. It's cool that your Monster can get photos from the safety and comfort of the house though!

  25. Goodness,,
that is an amazing photo of Lightning running in the mid air...!!
Hummm, Cash needs to go back and be safe at his own house..
You go ahead and tell him Lightning!

  28. We have a "Cash" in our neighborhood too! Sure hope he is careful out there. Lightning probably thinks it is exciting! We are wimps when it is windy and cold out too!

  29. congrats for winning the fence race! I like this kind of sports... you need no finish-photo, you just have to count the bars :o)

  30. It looks like much of the planet is windblown at the moment. We're getting strong winds here too!

  31. Should we worry that Cash roams the neighborhood all by himself? I am glad he visits you so you can keep an eye on him

    ReplyDelete
  32. I hope Cash's parents start to do a better job keeping him in his yard. It's dangerous to roam free! I'm glad he hangs out with Lightning sometimes. At least we know he's safe then.

  33. We hope Cash doesn't get hit by a car!

  34. Your friend Cash is nuts!!! We're sure it's fun to chase him, but we would worry too. And your mom won't go out in the cold? And she owns huskies????? We thought that was the point! Haroo!

  36. I just love Lightning's sled dog action shot! Beautiful! Go Lightning! Cash must be driving them crazy being so "free." I'd be a nervous wreck if he was mine and running around - I hope he stays safe and that his family can find a better fence solution so he'll remain safe. :-)
