Saturday Special

One year ago today, our beloved Phantom crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.

We miss you terribly, buddy.  Strange as it may seem, it seems like you were here just yesterday, and at the same time, it seems like you have been gone forever.

Today we would like to remember our special boy with some photos from the past.

Puppy Phantom with Angel Dakota

Can someone please open the garage door so we can go off on an adventure?

From one of our first days in Kansas after leaving Connecticut.

Phantom was always wonderful with all the grandbipeds.  Here he is with his special princess K.

Our Honeybun Boy

Hi Mom.

Sunpuddles were a big hit.

Cookie, please?

Can I please come in?

He always loved to go for a walk.

Fun with friends.

And let's not forget his donkey pals.

Never afraid, always gentle.

Welcoming Thunder Dunder.

You can't catch me, Thunder.

And then along came Ciara.

 Lightning joins the pack.

 So happy together . . .

He loved riding in the car.

And oh THOSE eyes!!!

November 20, 1998 - April 2, 2015

Wish you could have stayed a bit longer, Phantom - hugs from all of us.

Woos - Ciara, Lightning, and Mom

  17. I'm wiping away tears as I type this. I don't want to say I have a favorite because all your dogs are so wonderful, but Mr. Phantom, he was just very, very special. I loved seeing all these pictures of him. I miss him. I wish he could have stayed longer too. Thanks for giving him, and all your dogs, such fantastic lives.

  18. He was such a handsome boy. Looks like he had a wonderful life! I am laughing because the pizza picture made me think, true dog owners capture the "badness" before correcting it. Thank you for sharing your memories of him today.

  35. Oh sweet Phantom. Your words at the beginning of the post gave me shivers. I agree with those that say there are many dogs we all know and we love them all, but Phantom is one that really brings out the emotion in all of us. He was such a special soul and you must have captured him so well. We will always be grateful you shared him with us - it was him that I joined Blogville for and I'll always have him to thank for that!
