Thursday's Walk in the Woods

Here we are off for our afternoon walk with Mom.

Side by side we go - down the trail near our home.

Yep, that's pretty typical of Lightning, checking behind for bikes.

Along the way there are lots of pretty yellow flowers growing.  Mom has no idea what they are, but she thought they would make a nice background for a photoshoot with us.

No, Lightning, there are NO bikes in those woods.

No, Lightning, there are no bikes coming down the trail.

You think you are so smart, Ciara - don't you see the curve in the trail - there could be a biker sneaking up on us right now.

So much for the photoshoot, but here is a closeup of the pretty wildflowers.

As we continued down the path, we were greeted by this cute fella.

We asked him if he knew our friend Princess Leah, but he said he had never met a princess.  We told him he didn't know what he was missing if he didn't know sweet Leah.

Then we saw THIS - he/she kept an eye on us while we passed, but didn't make even the slightest move.

Another photoshoot op at the trippy trappy bridge.   Ciara was laughing because Lightning is still on his bike watch.

Hey, don't laugh at me, I think I hear the whirr of those tires speeding toward us right now.

Silly boy, c'mon, let's head this way.

One last glance back just to be sure.

And so we headed on home after a very long and interesting walk.

Now what are we doing?

ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz. . .

Woos - Ciara and Lightning

  2. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY WORD SPRING TIME AND YOUR WONDERFUL WALK ABOUTS HAVE STARTED. Such pretty things along the way too!!Lightning you do have to watch for bikes and listen. Once my peeps were on a trail 'they thought all alone' when all of a sudden mom heard
"ON YOUR LEFT"... She nearly jumped out of her skin. She had never had a biker say that to her. Once she got over the fright she thought it was a pretty good idea. Ohhh you have Princess Leah look a likes in your neighborhood too. Mom told me she met Leah's twin the other day when she was walking Kasi. The little pups names was Stella.
    Hugs and keep moving

  6. Oh what fun for you two to go for a nice walk in the woods. Poor Lightning worrying about the bikes. But he looks like he did have a good walk. Probably Ciara being so calm helps him. Love the pictures.

  8. Great walk! Thanks for sharing it with us. When Mom walks she has to be careful of bikes so she understands why Lightning is so vigilant!
