Wednesday and the Weather

As you can see from our very green grass, we got a ton of rain last night for which we are very grateful. AND there is a whole lot more coming in this weekend.

Now if we could just make a little request -  a whole lot less noise and lights would make things a whole lot better.  What a show Mother Nature put on last night!!!  We were very fortunate and had no damage from the wild storms, but we had to endure about six hours of nonstop thunder and lightning - huge booms and frightening flares of lightning and very strong, howling winds.  It was NOT a very restful night.  BUT, despite a few days of persistent anxiety exhibited by poor Ciara, she managed to escape the evil "S" - and THAT is reason to be happy.

We sure hope that all of you in the path of these storms were safe too.

Woos - Ciara and Lightning

We heard on the news about your storms, moms sister lives in okla and they had winds 70 mph last night, we are supposed to get rain this afternoon hopefully no loud booms I don't like them. We are so glad Ciara did better.
P.S. Mom said thank you for the wonderful review you gave her. She added a fairy wreath today.

  19. YAY!! I'm SO happy for Ciara!! The whole time I was reading this post, I was hoping you would report that Ciara was okay, and she was! I do hope those storms would stop and you just get gentle rain for now on, for everyone's sake.

  21. That grass looks delicious! I'd be chomping all over the place (then throwing it right back up probably!)...........but it does look very pretty. I'm most especially happy that Ciara didn't have that nasty "S" visit during the bad storms you had. That's a real blessing........we had rain off and on yesterday but today we're having downpours. No thunder or lightning - just a lot of rain and chilly temps. Stay cozy!

    Love, Sammy
