Fabulous Friends on Friday

We had a delivery from the mailman Tuesday and what a surprise it was!!!

We got a BarkBox from some very special friends in Texas - Steve, Kat, and Puppy Gus!!!  If you don't know them, then you need to visit their blog at Blawg And Disorder.  Steve and Kat are littermate brother and sister, and Gus is their new little brother.

We had commented on one of their recent posts about a BarkBox they received how we wish our Momster would get us one.  These great pals sent us a gift of a THREE month subscription to BarkBox.  Each month we will receive a box filled with goodies.  Per the BarkBox website, every month they "paw-pack fun toys, healthy treats, and innovative gadgets that will drive pups bonkers."  Let's take a look at what our first box holds.

This company knows how to pack a nice box:)

Ooh la la, everything looks so interesting.

There are two bags of treats and an interesting looking stick.  That stick is a crunchy 12 inch deer chew.  We bet that is tasty.  And there is a bag of grain-free donut bites by Craft Dog Treatery.  We haven't opened the bag yet, but they feel very moist and chewy as we peer through the bag and, of course, they are made in the U.S.A.  There is another bag of treats by Leela Ryan Boutique. They must be very fancy and gourmet.  They are called Tartes aux Pommes or as the bag says, apple pie with a French accent.  They are "for the well-treated dog" - hey, that's US.  They have no corn, wheat, chemicals, or preservatives and are made of oats, apples, and cinnaon.  We can't wait to try these too.

A very nice card was included.

Now let's move on to the toys.  A pink pig head that feels like it has a round water bottle inside and a bright blue first place ribbon that squeaks really LOUD when you bite the #1 area.

Ciara wants everyone to know that Lightning did NOT get the blue ribbon because he is #1 around here. NOT!!!

The pretty pink pig also has a 1st place blue ribbon!!!

Now how about that deer chew - it is 12 inches long and we bet you can break it with your human paws, Mom.  We were both lined up side by side, but Lightning is so eager to get his six inches that he did a "Mother, may I" four paws forward:)

We really did each get half of the stick, but it was so good that it didn't last long.

Good to the last piece.

Or two:)

Thank you, Steve, Kat, and Puppy Gus - we love our BarkBox and can't wait for the next one to come.  Maybe you can arrange to have a real puppy like Gus in the July box:) We are very grateful for your kindness and thoughtfulness.  EveryFurry should have good friends like you.

Woos - Ciara and Lightning

Update on Ciara - she continues to have a rough time with the seizures, but hopefully today will be a better day.
