Sad Solo Sibe Saturday

I don't know what happened, but I am lost without Ciara.  I keep looking for her and sniffing for her, but I can't find her.  Mom tries to tell me it takes time, but I know she is hurting too. She and Dad say they will make things better and find somePup for me (and them), but they aren't having any luck.  Heck, they are hurting too.  Sometimes life just sucks.

Woos, Lightning

Lightning, my heart is breaking for you and also your mom and dad. I know this is so sad and confusing for you. Please know I'm saying a special prayer for you and keeping you in my thoughts.

Dear sweet boy, we know how much you miss your lovely sister. We do, too. Remember though, that she is no longer suffering ... as hard as that may be, and for her, that is so much better. Though she can never ever be replaced in your heart, the day will come when she will send a new little sibling your way ... be patient, it will happen ... until then, give your Mom and Dad all the love you can. They need a lot of it right now ...

Yep, sometimes it really does pal and we know you are missing your Sis. Ciara loved you so very much and she wouldn't want you to be sad, but sad does happen. We send you the bestest hugs from all of us and to your Mom and Dad too.

So much loss this week, so many broken hearts. Natasha passed away, and yesterday Teach, from Tails of Teach, also passed away unexpectedly. And pretty Ciara, what a tragic week for Bloggers.

What state do you live in? I get notifications all the time of dogs looking for homes. I can keep an eye out for huskies. (I'm assuming you want another husky?)

Collie222 said...

Also, are you looking for a pup, young adult, or senior? Rescue/shelter dog only?

You are right, sometimes life sucks, especially when a loved one is gone. That really hurts and leaves us lonely, even when we have other siblings for company. We send a hug for all of you to share.

Collie222 said...

And this one might be a little far from you, I'm not sure. But she's 2 years old. Good luck finding Lightning a new sister or brother.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Lightning. A new pup could definitely lift your spirits and help your heart heal. No fluffy puppy could ever replace Ciara, but could help you feel better.

I know exactly how you feel, buddy. When Joey dog crossed over the bridge, I looked all over the house for him and sometimes howled so maybe I could find him. I don't do that so much anymore, but I still miss him a lot. Ghostwriter still has lots of tears for Joey and now for your dear Ciara. Things will get better. It just takes time.

Oh Lightning. :( Your sister was such a special grrl. I know how much you're hurting. When my sissy died, I found out that if I comforted Momma and she comforted me, we both wound up limping through it. It seems impossible, but it will get better eventually. And you have all your furiends in Blogville who love you and will support you!

I am just getting caught up on your news. To tell you that I'm sorry doesn't begin to say it. I feel like I've lost one of my own dogs, because you shared your beautiful Ciara with all of us. From so many corners of the world, we all cheered her on, and applauded when she won her battles, and we loved when she enjoyed her good days. I hope you've found comfort in knowing that Ciara's loss is being shared by many like me who will miss her, and not forget her. Prayers of peace and comfort to all of you at what I know is a sad time.

Oh Lightening. I'm so sorry. It's hard to be an only doggie, but kinda cool, too - WAY more privileges ...I'm trying to get the humans to adopt our next door neighbor doggie who is pretty much neglected. They say they need a negotiator. Anyway, what i'm saying is be patient. The right doggie will come along.

Sending rottie kisses,

I want to reach into my screen and give you a big cuddly hug, Lightning. I know how sad you and your parents are - and how badly your hearts hurt. I've been thinking of all of you almost all the time since hearing the terrible news. For you, I am wondering if a family member or a friend could "loan" you a dog for a little while, if your parents think it might help you get through the loss of Ciara. In any case, we are sending you love and the POTP to somehow get through this. Let us know if we can help in any way at all. With love - KB, Shyla, R, and all of our angels.

Oh, sweet Lightning, I'm so sorry for the sadness in your family right now. It brings tears to my eyes. Your mom is right. Sometimes it can be so sucky. I still miss Gibson so. In time, the right pup will not only pop up, but will fill your hearts with love and your life with fun once again. Ciara will always be there, and will be running and playing with you in spirit. Sending you a big, big hug (and one for mom, too) and lots of Husky woos from our pack. xo
