Chewy.Com Tuesday!!!

OK, Misty.  Today is a special day - it is the day when we review a product that we have received from our wonderful friends at Chewy.com at no cost.  All they ask is that we do an honest review.

I am even going to let you take the lead on the photoshoot for this wonderful product.

We received two items for review this month. Today we are reviewing Merrick Grain Free Thanksgiving Day Dinner canned food.

Are you telling me there is FOOD inside these cans, Lightning?

Yes, Misty.  These cans contain delicious turkey, sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, and Granny Smith apples.

I don't think I smell any turkey, sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, or Granny Smith apples.  Are you sure?

OK, Lightning, I am going to trust you as my big brother and see if you are right.

So here is what we learned from the Chewy.com website.

The house is filled with love and the wonderful smells of Thanksgiving infiltrate the air. Could it get any better as you fill your plate with juicy slices of turkey and all the trimmings? Merrick's Thanksgiving Day Dinner is prepared with turkey, sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans and Granny Smith apples.

Key Benefits

  • Grain-free recipe
  • Added vitamins and minerals
  • No artificial colors, flavors or preservatives
  • Great for all life stages and breeds

Merrick believes whole foods not only taste better, but are better for your pet, and handmade recipes are much better than scientific formulas. That's why Merrick's been making pet food in their own kitchen for more than 25 years. Produced in small batches, each recipe is closely monitored to ensure it delivers the perfect balance of nutrients guaranteed right on the label. Merrick makes food to be fuel, not filler, and their wide variety of protein-rich dry and canned foods and treats means your pet will enjoy every second of his meal.

You can read all the details about this wonderful food and all the goodness it contains at the Chewy.com page right HERE.

Can you see that scrumptious turkey and some sweet potato and green beans?

Here are our dinner bowls.  Misty's is on the right and she only has a tiny taste because Mom introduces new foods to her very slowly.  But Lightning's has a nice big scoop added.  There is also a little pumpkin in there and a few added green beans.  The pumpkin gives us good fiber that makes for good poop:)

Here is a closer look at Lightning's bowl.

Misty eats in her crate and she is so fast that it is too hard to get a good photo.  But Lightning is very patiently keeping his eye on the goods.

Isn't it time yet to give me the OK release, Mom?

Oh yes, this is SO good.  We are so lucky to get a headstart on our Thanksgiving celebration with this delicious Merrick dinner.  We think you will love it too.  You can find it at Chewy.com where you can get great prices, superb service, and a large selection of products of all kinds.   We love you, Chewy.com.  And thanks for another opportunity to try a great product.

For some reason the pawrents are always concerned with good poops and then think it's odd that we butt sniff! Weird! Good review though!

That looks very yummy. I think we had a couple cans of that food to entice Joey dog to eat more. He liked it at first, but then decided he didn't. I thought it was great!
