A First for Misty

Today was Misty's big day to cross the big road to the farm where the donkeys live.  We were lucky because two of the four were out in the field near the street.

Very intrigued by this ONE.

And now there are TWO!!!

Getting up for a closer look.

The tail uncurls.

The paw goes up.

How do I get in there?

That was fun, Mom. Let's go again!!!

I was there too, but I was more interested in watching for those scary bikers - one snuck up on me at high speed:(

Woos - Misty and Lightning

  2. WTG Misty you were intrigued...donkeys are interesting to me. I once rode (virtually) on the back of Ms. Marg's Donkey Joe during a parade.

Lightning my mom would have been on bike watch too. Once when she was on a walking trail one got almost on her tush and said...loudly, "on your left". Which was a warning but it scared mom so much she almost jumped in front of him. He shoulda been hollering that a lot sooner.

  7. Oooooooo DONKEY'S!!!! Oh, you guys are soooo lucky! I wish I could meets pawsome furiends like those!!! You have to go where the rich peeps live to see them, and they don't particularly appreciate the likes of us tryin' to 'meet' them! BOL
Oh Lightning, you needs me to bark my arse off at those mean bikers for you? That's what I do...Ma doesn't seem to appreciate that either...☺
I will keep them FAR away from my furiend!

  8. On ghostwriter's way to work, there is a farm with a few donkeys, some goats, and a couple horses. But there's no place to stop and visit them. So she just waves at them as she drives by.

Oh look at all the dandelions! What a nice day you had there!

  10. Oh I am so glad the Mom told us that you had visited the donkeys,Misty. I bet that was interesting for you. I needed the big smile on my face. Smoke and Joe send their best to you. Glad you had some fun too Lightning. Looks like you behaved pretty well Misty.Don't think you want to go in there, donkeys can be very protective of their territory. They even chase the cats around here sometimes. Maybe you can go back sometime and see them again. Just tell them that you are friends with Smoke and Joe. Have a great week.

  15. Looks like you want to play with them. We think that would be lots of fun. There used to b cows in the field next door to our yard and we loved watching them. They liked watching us, too.
