Tasty Tuesday - #ChewyInfluencer

It's time for us to do our April review for Chewy.com.

This month we are checking out a new canned food (new to us) by Nutro.

It is Nutro's Limited Ingredient Diet Grain Free canned food in the turkey & potato recipe.  We were lucky enough to receive a full case of 12 cans from Chewy.com.

Thank you, Ms Natalie and Chewy.com, for your generous offer for us to give us this product at no cost to us in exchange for a fair and honest review.  Misty is worried those Easter rabbits might try to beat her to the test.

Look at how delicious it looks!
From the Chewy.com website we learned the following:

Description:

Some grains, such as corn or wheat, can trigger a food allergy or digestive issues in dogs. Nutro Grain Free Adult Farm Raised Turkey & Potato Recipe Premium Loaf contains 0% grain. This makes it a great option for dogs with food sensitivity. Our natural, wet dog food uses a limited number of ingredients. These include farm-raised turkey as the single, novel animal protein source and highly digestible potatoes. Plus, this wet dog food also is formulated to give your dog healthy skin and a shiny coat.

Key Benefits:

  • Number-one ingredient is great-tasting, U.S.-farm-raised turkey which delivers amino acids to build muscle and maintain a healthy metabolism. Give your dog all that she needs to thrive and stay healthy.
  • This product is made without grains, corn gluten meal, wheat or soy protein. Because of this there is a less chance of aggravating food sensitivities and allergies.
  • Formulated with optimal levels of omega-6 fatty acid (linoleic acid) and zinc to promote healthy skin and a shiny coat. Help keep your pet keep looking great and robust.
  • Made with absolutely no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. This is a high quality product that is produced in the manufacturer's own facilities to ensure safety and quality.
  • Nutro's dedicated team of experts tailor their formulas to your pet's life stage and health condition. They only use natural ingredients that they directly buy and can trace back to their suppliers.

We get kibble as the bulk of our meal, but Mom adds some green beans, pumpkin, and a topper of various canned food.  We would love to have our whole meal be the canned food, but Mom says that could be a bit costly for her and give us a few too many calories:)

You can see how much we enjoyed this special delight last night when we had our dinner.  Enjoy our video.

You can also view the video on YouTube HERE.

As you can tell, we were very pleased with how good this Nutro's Limited Ingredient Diet Grain Free canned food in the turkey & potato recipe was.  We have to say we give it four paws up each.  If you are interested in getting some, it also comes in other varieties and can be found HERE on the Chewy.com website.  Mom says she was happy with our response and would definitely consider purchasing it for us again.  Thank you, Natalie and Chewy.com for letting us do this review.

Now, Mom, is it time for dinner yet?

  4. We're going to try some of that. Abby can't do grains but I know she wants more than just dry kibble even the blue buffalo basic that she loves the taste of (she'd just pick at other brands of dried food).

    Thanks for the great review.
