Flower Friday

We are joining Arty and Jakey of Da DB Boys for the Flower Friday bloghop.

Yep, you are seeing correctly - the Momster found more ways to barricade the planters.

Remember we showed you how she used the "no-sibe" fence to shield the potted plants.  Now she imprisoned the planters too.

Let's see what's in those pots.

This one is Mom's favorite - the million bells pot.  Well, it might be minus 87 or more of those bells from before the barricade went up:)

How about some pink and white waxed begonia accompanied by some pretty raspberry penta.

This planter has some more begonia, penta, and some pretty purple angelonia and a few ivy vines (the vines might be a little shorter than when first planted:)

And as for the other planter - well, it once had some penta too along with the begonia and angelonia, but it somehow disappeared too.  Mom added some white bacopa to fill it out a bit.

That's it so far for what is growing in our backyard.  Mom seems to be winning the war against somePup for now at least.

Let's take a look at what is growing out front.

Another planter (overshadowed by some flashy beast operator) with some more begonia and some pretty impatiens that haven't gotten to full bloom yet.  This is the same planter where some birdies made a nest a few years ago.  You may remember how Mom made a canopy to protect the babies from the hot sun.

There are two big pots of geraniums on the porch.  They seem to be thriving!!!  And for some reason they don't need to be fenced in:)

Mom just LOVES the color of the blooms.

Here is a shot of the front entryway.  Mom made the wreath on the door - a rainbow sherbet colored wreath of giant mums.

Hope you enjoyed our Flower Friday tour. Mom is hoping one day she will be able to free the flowers from prison:)

  2. Such pretty flowers and that Mom is one smart woman to outsmart you Misty. Glad she put the flowers in jail so they will survive one dirt digging puppy. Great tour of the flowers. You all have a great evening and a good week end.

  14. Your momster is quite good at keeping wandering paws away...of course she has had tons of practice with her own children and the bipeds and the Woos who came before. Misty seems you might have challenged her a wee bit though.

We love the rainbow sherbet wreath. She has very talented paws

  22. That's a clever Mom you have there pups!! Now you're going to have to think of a new way to keep your Mom busy. My Mom has started her gardening once again as well. I'm trying desperately to show her how to dig holes but she just keeps going about it all wrong. ~sigh~ What are we pups to do with our peeps?

  23. Your plantings are so pretty and you made our mom laugh about the husky-proof barricades! She may have to borrow a few of those ideas to keep us out of her plantings!
