Monday, Monday, Mischief, Mischief

STILL raining!!!  What is that saying about rainy days and Mondays always get one down?

Double decker dull down dogs.

May as well get some synchronized chewing going on.

We need some sun and some wind to dry up our mudpit,
or so says Mom.

And about that mischief, mischief -

Wonder why these pots of pretty flowers have taken up residence on TOP of the table instead of ON the deck floor?

Maybe because something is missing from this planter?

And maybe this one too?

Hmmm, look at that gaping hole!

Misty, you better get rid of that impish smirk on your face - I told you NOT to do that!!!

Who, ME?  Not a chance:)

Note from Mom:  Even the trellises didn't stop that "plant-eater".  Sigh, another pup who doesn't want our deck to look nice.

Well, after a busy weekend for Mom who spent the past three days watching the grandgirls dance their hearts out at a local dance competition (with outstanding results), she has an even busier week ahead.  One of the human sisters is moving to a new house, and Mom is going to be consumed with helping unpack the 87 gazillion boxes. And THEN she is off for the weekend to the Dallas area - a big regional dance competition AND some time with our human brother and family in Keller.  And where will we be?  Home with Dad - hmmm, he treats us pretty well, but we will miss Mom.  Just a heads up, our blog time may be pretty limited until next week.

  1. We can't imagine who would take those plants out of the planters. If your mom didn't catch you in the act or find dirt and plant stuff stuck in your teeth how does she know it wasn't the squirrels? We like your two tiered sleeping. If you roll off Misty then Lightning will cushion your fall. BOL!

  5. Oh Misty, you wouldn't do that, would you??? It is fun to play in the dirt. Sounds like the Mom is going to be very very busy, so we hope she has a great time while doing all her duties. We know that Lightning and Misty will miss her.

  6. Our Joanna human had some herbs growing in window planters on the second floor of the apartment building where she lived. The evil squirrels kept digging them up so they could bury nuts and leftover food they stole from the dumpster behind the restaurant across the street! What a mess! I bet the squirrels dug up your Mom's flowers!

  18. Momma says that your momma should take the family down to Scarborough Fair, her Renny-sauce faire, when they're having "family time". :) WE won't be there, but Momma will!
