Thankful Tasty Thursday - #Chewy Influencers

Today we are going to do double duty as we take part in Brian's Thankful Thursday blog hop AND participate in the #Chewy Influencers program with our August review.

For starters, let's just say we are so very thankful for the beautiful weather we had yesterday and today after about 7 inches of rain overnight Monday.  The humidity is low, the sun is shining, and it is in the 80s - not bad for August in Kansas.  But let's get back inside because we have something really tasty to share with you.

This month we chose a product from Chewy.com to review for you that seems to have been very popular around the blogs.  We have already seen it reviewed by several of our blogging pals.

That would be the Blue Earth's Essentials Apple Orchard Clusters in Blueberry Crunch.

Mom took a pic of the back of the package, but since it is a little hard to read, let's see what the Chewy.com website has to say:

Caloric Content

3,332 kcal/kg, 5 kcal/cluster
While your furry friend would probably love to eat the whole bag, Earth’s Essentials Apple Orchard Clusters are for intermittent or supplemental feeding only.

Here is a closeup of what the clusters look like.

Most of the pieces are about the size of a piece of popcorn, like the bigger ones in the photo. But Mom says they crumble quite easily into the smaller pieces more like the size of granola.

Most of our reviews of foodables that get added to our kibble go in our dinner bowl. So we were very surprised to find something new and interesting in our breakfast.  If you look closely, you can see that we always get a dollop of plain nonfat yogurt and 7-8 fresh blueberries added to our regular kibble for breakfast. Under the yogurt is a fish oil capsule. Yesterday we found some crunchy and very tasty clusters on top of our yogurt.  Mom didn't do a video of us eating as it was about 5:15 a.m. and her eyes were barely open.  But we CAN tell you that we loved the delicious blueberry crunchy clusters.

In fact, we loved them so much that right now we are hoping that those bowls up on the counter might get some more clusters added to them for dinner - sort of like a dessert topping:)

We want to thank Chewy.com and Ms. Natalie for letting us taste test this product at no charge to us in exchange for a fair and honest review.  The clusters are also available in other flavors that you can purchase at Chewy.com by clicking right HERE.

So we don't know if it will work, but we are going to see if we can link up to both blog hops in one post. Hope it all works.

  16. Wow! You sure get some delicious yum yums with your dinner!

We have some cool weather today. We hope that doesn't mean we're getting an early winter. Ghostwriter thinks since we've had so much rain this summer that the weather patterns might keep up through winter. That means tons of snow! (She's not going to think about that anymore right now.)
