Dona Nobis Pacem

Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us, and the world will live as one.” – John Lennon

The theme for #blog4peace this year is 'finding peace in overwhelming times'.  We join so many in seeking peace for our world so that we really could live as one instead of just dreaming about it.

And these words still true today - it is TIME NOW to take action for peace:

In the hearts of people today there is a deep longing for peace. When the true spirit of peace is thoroughly dominant, it becomes an inner experience with unlimited possibilities. Only when this really happens – when the spirit of peace awakens and takes possession of men’s hearts, can humanity be saved from perishing.” – Albert Schweitzer (1875-1965)

  13. I really, really love this post and the theme for #blog4peace. Your words are perfect to end my day on. I worry about the attitude of people who seem to not take "peace" seriously, and seem to thrive on contention. The world truly needs more peace makers to help us to all reach that goal of living as one.
