Tasty Tuesday #ChewyInfluencer

Time for another Chewy.com review.  Some of you have already had the pleasure of enjoying the product we have for our readers to learn about today.  But we think everyone will still enjoy seeing what we think about this item that we received from Chewy.com at no cost in exchange for our fair and honest opinion.

Here we have a 12 pack of Blue Wilderness Trail Trays.

We have duck grills and chicken grills - we love both duck and chicken.

From the Chewy.com website, we learned about the product and its key benefits.

Description:

Take a walk on the deliciously wild side with the Blue Buffalo Wilderness Trail Trays Variety Pack with Duck & Chicken Formula Grain-Free Dog Food Trays. Inspired by the wolf spirit that lives in every dog, these recipes offer wholesome nutrition in irresistible flavor choices. They’re made with only the finest, natural ingredients like real, protein-rich duck or chicken—and equally important is what’s not in it. This food leaves out all the stuff that isn’t good or nutritious for your dog, because that’s just how nature intended it. And in an easy-to-serve tray form, mealtimes have never been better.

Key Benefits:

  • Tasty and natural grain-free variety pack is packed with protein and comes in easy-to-serve trays.
  • Real, deboned duck or chicken is the first ingredient with added vitamins and minerals.
  • Inspired by the diet of wolves, who are true omnivores with legendary endurance.
  • Made in the USA with only real ingredients and never any chicken or poultry by-product meals.
  • Great for allergies with no grains, corn, wheat or soy or artificial preservatives, colors or flavors.

We let Mom decide which flavor we would try first.  She chose the chicken and said we could have the duck tomorrow night.

The chicken trail tray food has a very soft, almost pate-like consistency.  Mom said she liked that she could easily divide the "pie" into thirds so we could each get some as a topping for our dinner.

We would all rather have a WHOLE tray for each of us, but we decided that Mom knows best.  Misty and Timber think that Mom needs to check her measuring skills because it looks like Lightning's stainless steel bowl got a bigger chunk that they did.

We let Mom video us as we were eating. You will see that she mixed in some green beans, some pumpkin, and our kibble along with our trail tray portion.  We hope you enjoy our video.  At the beginning you can hear how impatient Lightning is when it is dinner time. You will also see that Timber still eats in his crate, but he is probably going to get to eat with Lightning and Misty soon.  Lastly you will hear the gong of the old clock verifying that Mom did a good job of getting our dinner served by 5:00 p.m., per our preference:)

As you can see, we all LOVED that extra topping in our dinner bowls.

In fact, Misty loved it so much that she was waiting outside Timber's crate to clean up whatever he might leave in his bowl.

Sorry, Misty, Timber cleaned his bowl completely!!!

Thank you, Chewy.com and Ms. Natalie, for giving us the opportunity to serve as Chewy Influencers once again.  We like the trail trays a LOT.  Mom says they would be a little more expensive than the canned food she adds to our dinner, but she would be sure to get some for a special treat.  They would be great for smaller dogs who don't require as much food as we do, and they would also be nice for times when the family goes traveling and wants an easy meal to prepare for us.  Just zip off the lid and serve!!!  Check them out on the Chewy.com site right HERE.

Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber

OMCs I think all food feline and k9 should come in trays...If I had a tray I would be happy for at least 87 seconds. I have turned into quite the chow-gal. Loving my small meals 87 times a day

I told mom she should have explained the solitary confinement. I''ll be sure she adds it to tomorrow's post.

  9. Great review! Hunter gets another wet food and loves it. We will have to try these out-but they are more expensive than what he gets so it might just be a treat and not every night.
