So there I was sitting nicely in front of the counter where breakfast is prepared. . .
Mom, why don't I see MY white bowl on the counter? I only see Misty's blue one and Lightning's silver one. Where is mine???
No breakfast???? How can that be? I thought it was pretty strange that I got my bedtime biscuits an hour early last night and then no water in the water bowls all night long. And now NO breakfast??? Something is rotten in OP.
WHAT???? I am going to spend the day and overnight at the V.E.T.??? To be New-Turd???? What the heck does that mean????
Misty, why are you laughing at me?????
Mom, tell her to stop laughing at me.
No, Misty and Lightning, Mom is NOT going to give you each half of my breakfast in addition to your own!!!
Dear friends, I don't understand what all this means, but please send a message to the V.E.T. that I am a starving Siberian who really needs his breakfast.
UPDATE from Mom: Surgery is complete. All went very smoothly. And Timber is now entertaining the clinic with the Siberian wail typical of a Sibe coming out of anesthesia:)
Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Uh-oh. We know those No breakfast mornings. Actually, No one gets breakfast if someone has to miss out....at least until later. Hope you heal quickly, Mate.
ReplyDeleteYikes Timber not a way to start a new year. At least Lightning was not laughing at you like Misty. I hope and purr by now you have rec'd nourishment
ReplyDeleteand water. Ohhh I have heard tales about a Sibe coming out of anesthesia.
When you get home you'll have all kinds of stories I'm sure.
Hugs and kitty kisses Madi your bfff
Poor Timber, I know I feel like howling when I come out of being under. Hopefully, Timber will be back to his playful self soon. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteWags,
Noreen and Hunter
Oh no Timber, we are so sorry but it is a necessary evil that has to be done. Hope you got something to eat now. You all have a good day.
ReplyDeleteOh dear! It was time for that operation. I try not to remember it. Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteSing the song of our people, Timber! Sing it proud!!!
ReplyDeleteWe're glad surgery went well. Prayers that you'll be home VERY soon and that recovery will go quickly and uneventfully!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
Ohhhhh Timber. You will indeed be a whole new turd after your surgery. BOL! Don't worry, buddy, we've all gone through it!
ReplyDeletePro tip: DON'T lick your stitches. Not even to investigate. All it will get you is stuck in the Cone of Shame.
Dad remembers when Barkley got fixed. Mom called the V.E.T. and asked how much it would cost to get him the procedure. The Vet Tech said "it depends upon the weight" to which Mom replied "they're just a few ounces!". My Mom is a nut. We hope Timber heals quickly and is home without issues.

No meals is no fun! Thank goodness that's behind you, Timber. I'm sending you lots of AireZen and healing vibes!
ReplyDeleteWe forgot to say how much we love your new blog look! Autumn will always be our most favorite season!
ReplyDeleteGlad everything went well. Can't wait until you are home again, Timber. Hope you have a speedy recovery!

ReplyDeleteDouble rations afterwards, though, I bet! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
We're glad to hear that the surgery went well and hope Timber is home soon.
ReplyDeleteWell that's a poopy way to start off the New Year with a hoo-ha-ectomy! We think you should get extra treats for the rest of the year to make up for that! We're glad you're doing well and hope you get to come home early tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to all of you!
Oh Timber, woo is SO BRAVES!! We've walked in your moccasins. You'll feel betters soon!
ReplyDeleteOtto and Osa
We are glad everything came out okay, errr, off okay, drat, we're glad you're dong good Timber!
ReplyDeleteWish we'd known about that Husky howl. When Tsar had his root canal, Rob drove all the way from Columbia to Springfield with Tsar lying in the backseat howling. He even got pulled over by a police officer who heard the racket and thought there was a problem.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry that happened to you Timber but now you can consider yourself a man! Or maybe less than a man. But still it is an important milestone
ReplyDeleteOh Timer...yoou got to have your "Big Boy" tutoring?!?! Mama says Rosy will be going in for her Big Girl surgery at the end of January...
ReplyDeleteWe're glad everything went smoothly and bet the vet techs are loving your serenade!
xoxo,
Jakey, Arty & Rosy
