Tasty and Healthy Tuesday - #ChewyInfluencer

Today we are going to tell you about a product we received from Chewy.com for our review at no charge in exchange for a fair and honest review.  What Mom liked about this product was the fact that it is a supplement that will not only taste good to us but also give us some great health benefits.

We are going to tell you about the Solid Gold SeaMeal chews.  They are designed to support good skin and coat health as well as digestive and immune health.  That's our Angel Phantom in the photo above.  Mom thinks this is a supplement that would have been wonderful for him as he had many health issues during his life and skin and coat weaknesses too.

These supplements are bite-size and heart-shaped.  The number of treats a dog would receive is based on weight as seen in the chart below.  It is also safe for dogs of all ages and weights, even puppies.

We are going to let Chewy.com tell you all about this product and its key benefits.

Description:

Keep your pal in tip top shape with the superfood power of the Solid Gold Supplements SeaMeal Skin & Coat, Digestive & Immune Health Soft Chews Grain-Free Dog Supplement. It’s formulated with a blend of USA-sourced seaweed rich in vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants to support a healthy skin and coat and immune health. Then, because tummy and skin issues often go together, digestive enzymes are added to maintain a healthy digestive system, plus flaxseeds and omegas for even more skin-nourishing action. Best of all, you won’t have to chase your furbaby down, since these tasty soft chews will keep them coming back for more.

Key Benefits:

  • Supports skin and coat health in dogs with USA-sourced seaweed that’s high in chlorophyll, iodine, and essential nutrients.
  • Helps maintain digestive and immune health with natural digestive enzymes plus B vitamins, zinc, selenium, iron and magnesium.
  • Soothes and nourishes the skin and coat with omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidant-rich flaxseeds.
  • Soft texture and tasty flavor is great for picky eaters, and is made with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
  • Proudly made in the USA with absolutely no gluten or grains so they’re ideal for pets with sensitivities.

The product that we received has 120 soft chews in it.  Mom decided that she would try it with just one of us at first so she could get a good amount of time to determine its value.  We are all healthy and have good coats and skin, but every pup could benefit from a supplement, right?  Mom picked Misty for a few reasons. Misty can sometimes get a little on the gassy side - sorry, Misty, but it is true.  She also has the thickest coat of the three of us although Mom is pretty sure that Timber is going to give her a challenge for that quality once he matures.  When her furs want to shed themselves, her coat gets very tight and hangs on to that dead fur unless Mom is diligent about brushing her.  Mom read all the reviews about this product on Chewy.com and noticed a few things.  At least one reviewer mentioned that their dog seemed to shed less after using this product. Another commented on improved stomach issues.  Still another said the odor her dog emitted seemed to go away after using these supplements.  It is always good to hear what those who have used the product have to share.

If it means less brushing, I am all for it:)

The SeaMeal also comes in a powder form and has basically the same ingredients.  Mom likes the idea that she just has to add two of the chews to Misty's dinner rather than measuring out the powder.  But some people might prefer the powder.  Both the powder and chews offer the same benefits.

Did you say they taste good too?  And I get them but Timber and Lightning won't?  Na na na boo boo!!!  I just knew I was special:)

Yes, Misty.  They are chewy and tasty.  You will find two of them in your dinner bowl every day. And there won't be any in Lightning or Timber's bowls (at least for now).  If they are as beneficial as they purport to be, we will be getting them for all of you.

How many more hours do I have to wait until dinner???

Two of us aren't so sure we like this plan, but if you have some other treats there for us NOW, we will be just fine.

Thanks to Ms. Natalie and Chewy.com for allowing us to review this product.  We will let you know in a few weeks how the taste testing is going.

Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
