Madi's Big Day

Today is a very special day for a very special lady - Ms. Madi is 16!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are joining in the Road Trip bloghop fun to celebrate our kitty pal's big day.

Can you believe that we three Woos have NEVER really been on a Road Trip?  The farthest we have ever gone on the roads is to the V.E.T.  Now we all know that Lightning is not crazy about going in the car. In fact, he doesn't like to be anywhere near anything that has wheels or that moves in any way other than on four paws or two human legs.  Misty and Timber love to go in the car.  So let's see what we can do about a Road Trip for Madi.  Maybe we can even get to "Down Home in North Carolina" and treat that sweet 16 year old to some fun with the Woos.  Let's get the planning going.

Timber:  Hey, look what I found - a bicycle built for THREE!!!  And there is even a basket where we can put our presents for Madi.

Misty:  Hey, Lightning - do you mind if I use your back for a stepping stool to get up on my seat?

Lightning:  Sure, go for it, Misty. But you are going to have to ask Mom to take the front seat. This Woo doesn't do bikes!!!  Besides, I don't think I can trust that young whippersnapper Timber to do his share of pedaling - he is too young to drive!!!

Misty:  OK, then how about this bike instead?  Timber can ride caboose in the basket, and you and I can do the pedaling and steering.

Lightning:  Did you NOT get the message?  I don't DO bikes.  You know I make Mom cross the street whenever I see one on our walks. They scare me!!!

Timber:  Wait, I have another idea.
Lightning:  How did this happen???  You tricked me - you said there were treats in the wagons.  I don't like wagons either.  AND how do you propose we MOVE this wagon.  I don't see a motor anywhere.

Misty and Timber:   OH, MOM - we need your help:) Mom??  Mom??? Why is that Momster never around when we need her???

Timber:  OK, I have one more idea.

Lightning:  Hmmmm, this one might have worked, Timber, if ONLY we had some SNOW!!!  We could have fun sliding down those Maggie Valley Mountains in NC.  We might even run into our friends at The Thundering Herd.  But how to get there???  By the way, Timber, you need to face front.

Misty:  Woe is the Woos - how are we ever going to go on a Road Trip for Madi???  We just have to find someway to go.

Lightning:  See, you just should have asked me to start with.  I have the perfect solution.   We are going to ride in style.  And I promise not to whine and woo all the way to Madi's place.

Misty:  Oh, Lightning, you are such a wise brother.  This is perfect.  I bet the limo will be fully stocked with lots of yummy treats for us.  And maybe the driver will stop at Starbucks so we can all enjoy a yummy puppicino - you know those delicious drinks that Princess Leah always gets to have!

Timber:  Puppi what?  Are we going to get a new puppy too???? Yippee!!!

Lightning:  OMD, what am I going to do with that boy!!!

Happy Sweet Sixteenth Birthday, Madi - we are on our way!!!  Hope the driver has a good GPS system.  And hey friends, watch out the window for us - we will stop and pick you up for a ride in the limo too!

  11. Oh my gosh, that was the best post ever. It had Mom laughing out loud. Timber, you had better face front please. That limo is the perfect answer. And we would like for you to stop here if you can. You sure would get the attention of all the cats here, that is if they should come out of hiding. You all have a wonderful trip. And such a big birthday wish to Madi.

We were so shocked to find out you have a new sibling. The Mom here has been very lax in keeping up the last year - so welcome Timber!

  17. We really like the idea of the toboggan! But, we can see where you might run into trouble if there is no snow. The Limo is a stellar idea, you can eat and drink in those things, so good call. Happy Road Trip for Blogville's favorite B-Day Cat Madi!!
