It is so much fun out here in the snow!!!
As you can see, we really do love the snow. Misty and Timber spend most of their time wrestling and playing chase. Lightning gets in on the action too, but he is mostly content to just supervise and graze:)
The snow is pretty and fun, but we do have a lot of damage to our shrubs and trees. We are hoping that they will spring back up once the heavy snow melts. Mom and Dad have brushed away what they can reach, but there is a lot WAY up there. One of our neighbor's trees has two huge limbs that are very heavily weighted down. One of them came literally an inch from hitting our house. Here is a photo of it. We are hoping they are going to do something about it because Mom isn't sure that big limb is going to pop back up.

ReplyDeleteYour neighbor's tree reminds me of a heavy wet snow one spring years ago. I was walking home under some trees when I heard a crack --- one big branch came crashing down not too far from me. I realized how stupid I was being and walked home a safer way!

ReplyDeleteWow, you are so lucky. We got a trace, less than an inch. It isn't enough to play in at all. Instead we got tons of rain which means mud is in our future.

ReplyDeleteWe have about ten inches of snow too AND some huge tall Leyland cypress with branches weighed down by all that snow. We brush off what we can reach BUT just have to hope for the best with what we can't reach! The snow is pretty and we know the Woos are thrilled, but we'd be happy to save BYE BYE to it!
