We Got Some!

Hey, gimme a break - this is what you call SNOW???? There isn't even enough to cover the deck.

Yeah, the weather man was right this time, we got "some" snow, just a light blanket of the fluffy white stuff.

At least most of the grass was covered, not like yesterday. But all it was good for was snooter sniffing. No drifts to run through and burrow into. No mountains for the king (that would be ME). It was all such a bore that all I wanted was to go inside and take a nap.

Will someone please let me in?

BUT wait, now that I am in, look what I found in the living room!

THE CHRISTMAS TREE!!!

She kept her word, she got the tree UP. It is all shaped nicely and the lights are on and there is a very pretty angel on top. The ornaments will have to wait until tomorrow so the oldest grandbiped can help with the decorating, but it looks so awesome there that each of us had to take a turn posing.

PRINCESS DAKOTA

SHY PHANTOM (a.k.a. CHIEF)

AND OF COURSE THIS IS ME!!

I will try to get another posing session in once the tree is finished, and maybe this time, Mom won't chop off the angel on top.

So Where Is It?

If woo were lucky enough to watch the border war football game between KU and MU, woo probably thought it was snowing here. It sure looked that way on the TV. I heard Mom say it was snowing here too but can woo see any snow here?

It's pretty tough to spot any flakes out there. How about in this one?

If woo look furry carefully, woo just might detect a few pieces of something white. BUT I thought it was supposed to stick to the ground. What's up with that? Maybe that is what Stormy was supposed to be looking UP for.

Anyway, we really didn't get what the OP Pack thinks of as SNOW. It was just a wet, dull day.

Then Mom said she was thinking about putting up the Christmas tree. I was so looking furward to helping her. But as of right now, my buddy Phantom and I are still waiting. Well, maybe Phantom has given up. I don't think it is going to happen tonight.

Tomorrow could be a better day. The weather man said there is a 40% chance of snow and slush AND Mom said she will really work on getting that tree up.

Somebody is having a birthday

Today is Phantom's TENTH birthday - that's a whole decade. Mom said he has been wild lately with all the changes in temperatures. He and Thunder have been driving her crazy with their zany and wild behavior. So she decided that she had just the perfect party hat for him to wear for his special day. Take a look at the birthday boy.

Doesn't he look so happy??? Mom said it was the perfect headgear as we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving just like the Pilgrims and Indians did for the very first Thanksgiving feast.

Happy Birthday, Chief Phantom

Where ARE those puppies?

Thunder here - reporting on the big tease Mom can be. I missed all the action because I was outside patrolling for pesky squirrels. But Phantom and Dakota were inside and they were sure there was a new puppy somewhere in the kitchen. Watch HERE to see what Mom put them through.

For those of woo who caught tonight's NBC Nightly News, it was the puppy cam that Brian Williams was talking about. Check it out, it is lots of fun to watch those cute little fuzz butterballs rolling around together.

Hope woo all have a great weekend. We might get SNOW showers tomorrow. Wouldn't that be just grrrrrrrrrreat?!

Commentary from a Reader:))

Maggy and Zoey of Zoolatry would like us to keep our blog G-rated. They sent us this message and picture:

Dearest Phantom,
We quite enjoyed your recent (albeit R-rated!) Stud-Muffin photo. There is no question as to your handsomeness and potential to be the next PMOY.
However, recalling there are a number of very young beans in the Woos household, we felt it
appropriate that you pose with some discretion and modesty so as not to assault the young eyes with your manliness.

Yours in jest,
Maggy and Zoey of Zoolatry

Ha Rooo Roooooo Rooooooooooooooooo!!! He is even more handsome now.

Squirrel-y Sunday

Woo have all been hearing about those pesky squirrels and how they have been causing power outages, like this ONE. And there have been many more like that one in recent days. Well, today Thunder decided to have a talk with one of the squirrels who lives in TD's toy box. HERE is how the dialogue went.

Enjoy!
